Welcome to the channel.
You can expect a full mix of car / workshop orientated content, with some added agri / farming video to go along with it. I try to upload every week, but as with everyone, life / work gets in the way sometimes, and I only video / upload what I think is worth uploading!
Thanks for watching,

Any update on this build ?
not too useful to narrate with a desktop with h/w lying around or a box of wires
Any idea when the next update will be Darren? Been good to see the channel back again. Appreciate the time of year and weather has a lot to play in it all. Cheersngone.
Hopefully soon, I have content just not had time to edit it. Sadly a very busy time of year and workload is high!
@@darrenjlobb Appreciate that. Also, loving the content, looking forward to seeing the new era of Lobb enterprises. Looks a decent workspace. Even as a mechanical derv pump fan. 😄
Im debating on using RDF900 or wifi for transmitting Data from a rtk base station tor a rover / lawnmower that would go around a house and trees, not a clear line at all times, what would be better, can you use both ?
a postal code, anything, I want to meet if you want, I'm from Northern Ireland and I'm Romanian😊😊😊😊😊
hello, where are you from in the UK, can you give me your address or whatsapp
I had forgotten what you looked like. I hope you're not getting too much older!
Making good progress Darren. Looking forward to a Dyno run!
Hopefully some more content soon Ian!
Hello. A bit out of context, but in your experience or knowledge, are 90s Renault 1.8 16 valve Clio engines very unreliable? I have to decide on wether or not swap and make a sleeper. Great content
Rolling back the years watching this video, I think you were one of the first people, especially in the UK to be doing these type of videos back in the day. Loved the D-turbos
Know what you mean by once you take the head off you spend a lot of money, I did exactly that 😂
Tidy things going on pal. Props to the sharpest hole cutter known to man and that tank pickup win!
Good spot Piggy. What was the hole saw made out of? I ended up using a diamond title saw on the last bit of 316 I had to put a hole in. Only after burning out a cheap and an expensive hole saw.
Finally caught up! Been a good watch on night shifts 🙈 absolutely cracking work Darren as per normal!!! Hope to see this at pugfest if Sam comes out to play 😂
Very tidy work. I expect people might look at the engine bay and scratch their heads wondering what's different when it looks so right.
Its always good when people dont realise its not stock!
Nice work Darren, you seem to be able to come up with solutions for everything. Pretty sure I saw something green and yellow lurking in the background !
Thanks Ian, and yes, its still kicking about :P
Interesting project, i love stuff like this and watching how you over come problems. Very inspirational, well done !!
Thanks
Yes!
Bit of a 'mare with the mounts!
The end of the video was Rob Dahm-esque
Nice one Darren, coming along nicely!
Here's where it gets spicy. Lots of juggling to do. I admire you being able to fabricate anything you need, but also to not bodge the driveshafts and leave those to an expert.
Great video as always Darren :)
Superb!
I really wish you showed some photos of how you built the pulley system i really want go supercharge my dw8 i think its awesome
Just as well that engine comes out easily.
??
@@darrenjlobb because you have to take it in and out so often to measure up and fabricate.
Still a great video, 15 years on! 😅
Haha thanks, still plenty of these DW8's on the road!
Really enjoying this Darren. Is the green meanie derv bus going to be putting in an appearance on the channel again?
Thanks Ian, and yes im hoping so, maybe later in the year :)
Love this series been thinking about doing this swap on my 306 estate and What ever happened to the 2 505s do you still have them or can we get an update in them mate
Afraid I sold them quite a few years back now....
@@darrenjlobb ah thats a shame mate
Great to see you back, been following you for sometime even when you put the Cummins in the land rover 👍keep going
Thanks!
Nice to see content coming back on the channel more frequently, Have been a subscriber for years and have enjoyed it since the days of the Field car shenanigans and fun times, I still go back and watch the old videos from time to time to reminisce about when I used to love watching them in me younger days of when I could not drive but now I can my car enthusiasm from when I was a young boy has now boosted through the rooftops. Just wanted to give my love to the channel. Love every build and project you do.
Me too mate, so glad the channel is back
Thanks for sticking around for so long!
wo o wo ah uk accent nice !
*Cornwall accent. Very distinctive.
@@althejazzman no no malice, it's just that in English I prefer the American accent, no I'm not criticizing, not at all!
Sounds bleddy brilliant with the blower on her
Seeing you in fast forward is fun. I wished I worked that quickly.
I wish i could work that quickly!!
next video; "50spi was too much"
It certainly wont be seeing anywhere close to 50psi, maybe more like 5!
@@darrenjlobb unsubscribed
@@PiggyPower😂
Really nice to see videos on this Channel again
Thanks, hopefully more to come soon :)
yeah cool man, you can also check out an K20Z1 oilpan, it has the lower mount in the correct side. I wish I knew that when I swapped my 205 xD
Interesting, I have already sorted the lower mount now anyway sadly!
Nice work Darren!
Cheers Ian
Nice one missed watching the old engine swap videos or the build videos like the old field transit turbo from years ago glad to see you picked the camera up again
I have been watching the 306 Field Car again and also really liked seeing that Ford Transit
What do you do for a day job are you an engineer by chance?
Farmer / Mechanic / Agricultural Engineer and everything inbetween :)
You had the right gasket but you put it on the wrong way. You can see at 10:05 the gasket‘s indicator holes are located in the front of the engine, they should be between injector 3 and 4. Just flip the gasket over.
I have been Subscribed to this Channel since you had the 306 Field Cars and the Ford Transit
Thats a long term subscriber right there!
Cracking video
Thanks!
Nice, looking forward to this one!👍
Thanks Ian, part 3 on its way shortly
Hi where can I find the arduino AutosteerPCBv2 firmware? Thank you
On the AgOpenGPS Board repo on github :)
@@darrenjlobb Boards/ArduinoModules/USB/Autosteer_USB_v5?
Turbo k pro is okay to do. Though personally I prefer standalone for calibration of turbo k20/24s
Decision has been made not to use a kpro
Looking forward to the rest of this. Glad to see you back again.
Thanks
Glad to see you back matey.
Nice to be back, time will tell if i can keep up some uploads!
God knows how many years ago it was now, but I remember when you was messing about with that gravity water pump, that thing was so cool.@@darrenjlobb
should have put the dw8 back in the civic... full circle of life
Your channel was an inspiration for me to do the stuff i wanted to do to my cars and a bunch of nice projects :) i remember the mtdi v6 audi the most, that was pretty cool and something i dream of doing myself.
Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for sticking around for so many years!
still like the 2.0 hdi engine but nice
My heart is always with the derv's, this obviously isnt my car, but is nice to get the chance to play with a K20 :)
