Skikkelig flott 🙂
Jätte kul! Jeg elsker Norska valser! ❤❤
So like, if these citterns are so new, are the old tunes coming from fiddle repertoire or a different instruments? What was it played on before the 80s?
Have always loved this bit of vid. Glad it’s just popped up again. Wonderful music 💕🎻
Vackert.
Tack så mycket från Egypten 😍
I want to go back.
Nice 👍
Nice 👍
Beautiful ❤️
Nice 👍
I had no idea you could play that on such an instrument. It is awesome!
Probably the most beautiful piece I've hear in a long time. This is the closest I've seen someone get to fully expressing an emotion and story on such a gorgeous instrument without falling back on needlessly complex technique. This made me cry ^^
Sounds really sweet
Herlige Guro, du er jo født inn i dette og fint å se du lever det ut :)
I love it!
So beautiful!
I am italian and i would like to learn danish
I did joke, once, that it'd be funny if it turned out that old Germanic folk music would just be Oompah with different instruments. Kind of almost sounds like I could be on the right track, here- it keeps pairing up & repeating segments in sets of two & always ends a segment on a single big note (pardon my complete lack of music jargon. Hopefully, readers follow what I mean.)
this music is like mantra , with a few more oms. lovely
Saudades de matar ally, bons tempos 😢😢
🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤ I love this music and culture!😊
Incredible!
❤
I love the instrument, but not the (English) name. 'Drejelire' is much better :)
Hi! I've been looking for a Hardanger fidle to buy but I don't know where I could get one. Could you help me, please?
Top .... !
Im crying of joy It is just so beautiful
Genial
Ich liebe Hardanger Fiddle Musik!!
Beautiful song, is the Cittern tunes the same as the irish bouzuki and where would I be able to find one? Best regards
Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!
Så smukt. ❤ hvem har bygget instrumentet?
they just can't help tapping their feet!
Ah yes, the sound of my country
Beautiful!
I've had the rare pleasure to play with Dwight, and listened to his tunes for years!
Does anyone know why the cittern is so particularly popular in scandinavia as opposed to bouzouki? Love this!
Yes. It's constructed differently. Warmer, more top and bass and less "plonky". This specific one that Ale plays is 10/10, pretty much perfectly balanced. You want certain projection and combining all of this is very, very difficult.
This is so beautiful and evocative✨Does anyone know the names of these three tunes?
i fing the are called VIRELAI
this is such a jolly beat! makes me want to get up and start dancing with the folks.
It has very beautiful sounds 👏
Maldita sea, me cayo una lagrima al recordar esa cancion ...son unos grandes!
Mesmerising. Just goes to show that folk are folk ALL over the world. It all sounds so Celtic. Fantastic piece!
Wow! Great performance! As an early music enthusiast and lutenist, I have dabbled a bit with the renaissance cittern. It’s interesting to see this modern-day variety of the instrument and see that the practice of keeping the little finger down on the soundboard has survived all the way to modern times.
Beautiful interpretation! Is there any possibility for you to send me the lyrics? Unfortunately I dont understand and I am currently making a research about scandinavian folk music. I am really curious about your lyric approach. Thank you in advance :)
Lord of the rings brought me here
This is awesome. Thanks for the play.
