Thank you to everyone involved in this production. Age now prevents me doing my walks around the Harbour so this film sums up all my memories. A real treasure for now and the future. Brian from Donnington.

Where she is standing used to be the city dump , there was a wharf with pill boxes at the end of Warren Avenue and the whole mid banks and deep channel was gradually filled and turned into the common . I can just about remember the village which had a duck pond . The houseboats were dotted around the shore but had been vacated when I was a kid . A couple stayed out into the seventies . It's a great place to live .

This is a beautifully made film which provides a sensitive evocation of the love and camarederie which went into creating and sustaining a brewery such as Gale's.

Cowrey (Kauri) Pine who would have guessed, we have a couple of majestic specimens growing nearby. I wonder what happened to them. They would've been a thing of beauty. Tragic that the brewery was lost to Chiswick. Malcolm's insight along with the other contributors was particularly informative and moving. Well conducted too, letting the people speak.

Fascinating . I lived in horndean for years.......can anyone remember Peta Gale, she was I believe the adopted daughter of Ricard Gale.....shee supposedly attended a boarding school in Isle of Wight but I can't find any record whatsoever.

Superb video, one of the best un-spoilt areas of the City, Milton Locks is an area very close to my heart, I grew up in Locksway Road in the 1970s & 80s, I was often 'down the locks' on sunny days, I can still remember there being a few houseboats there in the early 80s.

I also lived in Locksway Road, but was there a little earlier in the 60s & 70s. My parents owned "The Larder" and we lived in the maisonette above it, moving in when it was new in 1962 or 1963. Have very fond memories of growing up there, playing with the other children and exploring the Locks, the fields opposite, the foreshore up towards Eastern Road and scrumping for apples & pears in St James's. Happy memories indeed.

But what is the proposed constitution method? When the replacement electricity cable was laid to Hayling Island nobody noticed as it was laid in subterranean trenches bored by (mechanical) moles. We need to know more about the proposed construction before the naysayers run riot making videos like this. We need more information…

Great little overview video. I used to go to this back in the 90s and was just looking on Google to see if it was still running. The last time I went, We The People had just been founded and I bought a KH-01 frame from one of the stands. I probably wouldn't know any of the riders nowadays!

This entire video seems to be one long "BUT MY CAR...."whinge about how an infrastructure project will stop you driving around and polluting the environment. Some of it's laughable - the idea that laying cables past a primary school will, apparently, harm children's education. The only vaguely objectionable part is laying cables through Langstone harbour. Even your objections to the former tip being dug up boil down to "we don't care that there's toxic waste down there leaking into the water table as long as we don't have to see it". When I saw the court case reported I imagined there would be some major environmental issue or you had problems with the rather dubious backers of this but the reality seems to be that you're a bunch of NIMBYs who just like driving around, polluting the area and don't want to be stopped. Here's an idea: if there's road closures, try taking a bus or cycling, thereby reducing pollution. If people had acted like this in the past, we wouldn't have roads, railways, canals or, come to that, your houses.

This is an excellent video but it's a pity it stopped on Hambledon Road. Should have continued though Mill Road and onto Anmore Road. The Hambledon Road is no longer a B Road it has become an A Road for East West traffic North of Portsmoth and the A27. Digging thus up will indeed cause absolute chaos.

A fire in a substation in Kent means energy can’t be imported from France and because of nonsense Kyoto agreements we’re not allowed to make energy in the UK from coal. This has sent prices skyrocketing and will lead to poor people and old people not being able to heat their houses this winter. The naivete and stupidity of your campaign is truly shocking. No doubt you’ll support extinction rebellion and oppose Britain producing energy. This is truly a war of the middle classes upon the poor.
