  which mod is the one that auto loads the cut logs into the trailers? I hate to say it, but I suck at using the various claws to pick the logs up and load them. I just need to know which mod it is you were referring to for auto loading :P Thanks!

  Currently there is no autoload log trailer for console, if you are on PC then there a quite few. That's why I load them in the this way as playing on console without autoload

  @@affarmz I understand. I'm very new to the game. Maybe a week under my "farmer's belt" lol. I have not tried any mods yet and so far, the only one I feel like I really need is the auto loader. I'm on PC. I'll keep doing my research until I figure this out. Thanks! :)

I was so disheartened when I got this game as I was so excited and then I couldn’t work out how to do anything- I don’t even know where the shop is so I turned it off when I harvested the hay- now I’m so excited to go back and try again but I will follow your game plan so I can learn- really really appreciate you kind sir

  I’m here because of your awesome tutorials + subscription and your new video popping up in my feed- I’m still pretty new to the game but I was gobsmacked at your basically terraforming the starter block area back into a huge rolling field 😮🤯 this is an awesome long term goal to have as a new player like me.   @@affarmz thanks for making them! Can I bug you with a question? I’m playing on PS5 base game no mods on elm creek. I was hyped and just bought the land next to the starter land and was eager to remove the annoying white fence and house next door for more farm land- imagine how bummed out I am learning that I can’t sell or demolish the fence or house on the land. Is there any mod/way to enable the ability to do things like that on the ps5? I’d love to do what you’ve done in this play through.

  @@NiricDigital there is no way i am aware of to remove buildings and fences etc. on console at least, its a bit annoying that's for sure! In some future episodes I show ways of landscaping and changing layout of fields etc. which might give you some ideas, Thanks again for watching! Really appreciate it!

  Any Mod barns you recommend? i downloaded one that semi realistic with 80 cows i believe, but it requires water which needs to be filled every sleep cycle, its kinda tedious so i'd like to get one where the water isn't needed. i see the one in this vid didnt require any water, and i read online barns dont, maybe i just have bad luck and picked the wrong one from the mod shop.

  figured it out, even tho the mod i downloaded uses the same asset as the large barn, its labeled as a "UK PASTURE" thus its a lot cheaper and requires water. cheers.

  I just use the base game large one, tend to stay away from the feeding robot one and just use hay most of the time, 80 cows is deccent and does take a bit of work

  I have only been playing with Chicken's and Bee's thus far; You have convinced me to add pigs to the farm as my third animal type. I just need to get into potatoes as have been farming fields of the other crop types for a number of in game years and have plenty of stock in silo. I also like the idea of using slurry to spray the fields; fertilizer on my 4 large fields is quite an expensive business. Subscribed.

  Just be careful with the feed ratio, buying pig feed is the best way to go, however you you want to make your pig feed there are mods out there that are better for turning the raw crops into pig feed, makes life easy.

  @@affarmz - thanks for the reply and to be fair, the amount of silo'd crops would be more than enough $$$ to cover pig feed. At least with the base game buildings for pigs, that is what i would expect them to be in; as for cows and sheep - i can only ever picture them in fields (cows in sheds during winter). I hope Devs introduce a slaughter house at some point as the restaurant in Elm Creek only caters for vegetarians in the main - lol. Would be good if a trout farm was available. I have barely looked at mods too. Am on Console.

  @@affarmz it's nice playing your videos while I play cuz I learn new things like the central warehouse mod. I wiped out and placed field 40 for my equipment and warehouse. I saw you put up a bakery so I guess I should start looking into production instead of selling "raw" products as the next step. Might look into setting up an animal farm just to switch things up.

  I know I’m super late to this video but I’ve started playing recently and I think your Farming Sim 22 videos are the best and most well made and easiest to understand!! I do have a bonus question for you though- is it possible to move existing chickens from one pen to another new facility once you buy one? Say for example adding an additional pin or full production hen house- or do you have to start fresh with each new one?

  For all non pto implements, you can generally run at exactly the horsepower required as the drag created by the tool is an indirect power load on the engine. However for pto implements, it takes power directly from your engine, so I would recommend at least 50 horsepower more then the max required horsepower sum for all connected tools. This is because you need that extra horsepower to move and accelerate quickly, as the closer you are to the power required, the slower you accelerate and less speed you can maintain up a hill. Another thing to note is if you're farming some fairly hilly terrain, you generally want 50-100 extra power beyond whats required for all tools in order to maintain speed up the hills

  Another way to help you line up without the ridge marker is the map. It has a compass on it which tells you the heading. Since most fields are square and allow north south east west travel, you can use 360 or 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees respectively to align yourself nearly perfectly down a row. Your tractor will jostle around a bit and the numbers will fluctuate, but as long as you hit any of the above numbers, you will be relatively straight.

  With a fertilizer spreader, I recommend fertilizing early on after planting as the plant growth will hide the darker terrain of where you've done. Regarding tractor tires for fertilizer spreaders, its generally better to have normal tiresas when fertlizing early on where plant growth is still small, you won't get a crop destruction penalty, meaning you can run bigger tires without worry

  I would not recommend taking your augor wagon to a sell or store point at least for new players. For example, on Haut-Beyloron, the train station north has a very small and cramped throughway to deliver grain, and its nearly impossible to work your augor over that point to start unloading. The farmers market there is also another example of too tight to deliver with an augor wagon

  If you want a more realistic route, you can use a pallet fork or bigbag handler (bigbags can also be lifted with pallet forks from the bottem or through the handles) to lift the seed pallets or bigbags over the seed bin and it will automatically overload through the spout on the bottem. Alternatively, you can use an augor wagon with seed to quickly refill into the seeders and especially planters, since planters don't hold a lot of seed and use it up quite quickly. The convey all semi trailer augor wagon is objectively the best for this, considering it can hold all the seed and fertilizer you'd need to seed the entirety of all base game maps. It's hoppers are also seperated so you can change how much seed or fertilizer you have, with a ratio of 4:2 (seed:fertilizer) being a good starting point for seeders that accept fertilizer.

  Found the water distribution mod, it's like a blue silo, i placed it by the water fill station by the creek on the map, i can fill my tank at the same time it dumps the water into the silo, which then distributes the water to all the green houses. Much better than stopping to fill each house but still doesn't feel like im cheating the game.

  I want to get into horses on here as long as horses has been in the game. I hadn’t messed with them that much because it says you have to ride them to train them to increase their value how long do you have to ride them because when I did play around with the horses, I rode them forever on there and never could get their value to go up

  Yeah horse aren't my thing, have tried a little bit here and there, i just find them not that fun to care for, with the cleaning, feeding and riding etc, just dont find it fun, they do take a bit of work to get to full value.

  i had a tractor pulling 8K liters product hit taht barrier and flip last night... i disconnected the tractor and used a harvester to flip teh trailer back over, no way i was losing all that money.

  ​@affarmz Yup, barely had a 300hp tractor (maybe 310 or 305) put the 9mt reverse hook on the front and the Scorpio rock picker on the back. I was able to plow, rock pick, and cultivate in 1 pass. The AI however has some problems sometimes, maybe a turnaround thing.

  Sorry if that came off wrong. I accidentally returned a bale trailer on contract. Thought oh 2 bales I can use the attachment for the other 2. Sideway bales cannot be picked up with bale loaders. Spent 5 minutes doing doughnuts trying to knock them over. They both rolled downhill and got stuck on a fence. Got the tractor stuck, had to rent a frontloader tractor and bail spike to finish. Something so insignificant turned into a money sucking 1hr ordeal. Those are the things people relate to. Love your content, Elm Creek walk through was extremely helpful.

  Also, the 2% fertilizer for workers is a neat trick. However, they charge you more (big bags are usually cheaper than pallets) and they only shoot out max spread even if you set them up properly. 1000g of fertilizer can net you 10-20k profits on contracts if you do them yourself.

  The icon doesn't appear when I approach the lime station. Furthermore, the lime station is positioned so that the only way to even approach it is to try to back up against it, but even then no icon appears.

  Make sure the cover on the spreader is open, make sure the spreader can take lime, make sure you have your hint windows turned on so you can see, the Lime station on Elm Creek is pretty easy to access so shouldn't be too much issue. Thanks for watching!
