Hi what can I do if my new long handle is so close to locks its hard to turn key as your hand hits the bar? I have gone with a long handle on our new composite front door. Very nice but sad we bash our knuckle when turning key.

this dodo video doesnt show how to use the hardware for two handles the hardware with allen wrench. good grief wasted time about someone ripping a handle off and going helter skelter all through the gay video. Pure BS.
Those pull handles look awful. They look like something you'd find on an office building or public business. They do make a statement, but not a good one.
Longer handles are much more expensive than lever lever ....for a gimmic
It's all about the "Look". These are architecturally designed handles and they are obviously worth more than cheap lever handles. If you want the right "Look" for your front entrance then these are worthy of consideration. They are obviously not for everybody.
What about security? I love the look of the longer handles but am worried of the safety and likelihood of being locked out of a property?

Awesome video, would have been better had you used a noise cancellation mic. There is a lot of static in the video and you can barely hear the audio in full volume.

what is the offset of a pull handle?
I have back to back handles like that one. One is getting a little loose. What type of screw do I use to tighten it. It looks like it needs a circle screw.

Pull / push handles look great, but how do they operate the latch? How does the door stay closed if you don’t want to lock the door with a key?
On our website we sell a Roller lock which is specifically designed to work with pull handles. These hold the door closed without needing to lock the door. We have been selling them for more than 14 years. They work very well.
@Josh P These are architectural pull handles. One of the main benefits IS the "look" they give the door. If you want an ordinary lever handle that's OK it's your choice. If you want something more stylish and impressive then these Pull Handles are an option.
Just had a long bar handle fitted with new door. Cone with ution thumb turn lock. Do you think these are a good lock?
This is our concern too. We saw some comps. selling magnetic inserts in to hold door closed.
Magnets in the door and jamb. They work very well keeping the door closed when not locked.

Do I need to get a new door for a bar pull or is there a way to mount with my existing door?

We have these handles for our front doors, but our installer can't figure out how to get our doors to stay shut when it isn't locked. Are we missing some type of magnet mechanism in our door. We can't even walk outside without the door flying open. Any suggestions?
