Sony Classical is a division of Sony Music Entertainment. Ever since the founding of Columbia Records in 1887, the passion for excellence is driving the label to work exclusively with the greatest artists.
Every year, as a new years concert, the Wiener Philharmoniker, have a concert live on tv and this number is always the last song they play. Always with some kind of this interaction with the audience!

I sing in a community choir in Sonoma, California and the idea came to me a few days ago that it would be great to be able to sing some of the great arias along with the more popular music we sing. It looks like you already had this same idea several years ago. I also play the bassoon and Una Furtiva Lagrima is one of my favorites, so I was wondering if your arrangement of it is available for sale. Thanks, Marc Helfman

"Barber's Adagio for Strings was originally the second movement of his String Quartet, Op. 11, composed in 1936 while he was spending a summer in Europe with Gian Carlo Menotti, an Italian composer and Barber's partner since their student years at the Curtis Institute of Music.[4] Barber was inspired by Virgil's didactic poem Georgics."
