    Lol, I shop at the same Asian Market in Brooklyn Park! Could you do a recipe of traditional take-out chow mein made with a base ground pork and celery? That would be fantastic!

    There was Oyster Sauce, Sesame Oil and then a Cornstarch Slurry.

    What? No MSG? This can't be authentic....lol. Spent a lot of time in Taiwan and China. The food there is amazing. Always try to cook it here. My problem is I give it the American touch....which means I overdo it...cooking quantity, ingredients....everything.

    Ingredients: 4 Thinly Sliced Pork Chops 2 Tbsp Char Siu Sauce 1 tsp Hoisin Sauce 1 tsp Chu Hou Paste 1 Tbsp Cooking Wine 1 Tbsp Honey 1 Tbsp Char Siu Sauce (separately) Basting Honey 400 degree 12 minutes and 10 minutes

    Char siu is always amazing. I fell in love with it as a child back in the early 90s, when i had them in this flaky pastry topped with sesame seeds

    Diced/crushed garlic cooks, and burns, very fast. When I cook in a skillet it's usually one of the last ingredients to be added.
