I started baking and decorating cakes in 2014 but only for family and friends. I took a 4 year break but this is something I really love doing so I started back. I am self taught and have absolutely no culinary experience. I'm still learning, so it maybe somethings you can help me with also.. This channel is to help those of you who want to learn how to bake or just simply love baking and need ideas. Your creations will only get better from here! Trust me!! You will also learn other simple recipes for desserts such as brownies, cheesecakes, and cupcake creations. Make sure you gather all of your ingredients and bake with me! I'll see you in the kitchen!

You are a master maker. I can see the way you decorate that bad boy! Great job on the honest review. What you said is very true. Unless you tried homemade from scratch, most people can't tell the difference. I on the other hand, can't stand box cake mix or can frosting. No matter how you doctored it up, the cake or frosting has that funky chemical taste which you can't get rid of.

Wooooweeeee I knew I needed a sistah to tell the truth about these cakes😂😂. That after taste is all those bioengineered products in our food now. I can always taste something differently even if they sneakily didn’t put it on back of package.

Hey Hun! Baking tip - turn the plate of your springform pan over and use a piece of parchment paper before closing the ring. You can cut off any excess paper before wrapping in foil. The cake has a flat surface to bake on and just slides right off. Makes it easier to transfer to a serving plate or cake board. When the plate is done the other way it sits down in that small well and is hard to remove. You run the risk of breaking your crust.

I think boxed cake mixes have a place. They are definitely an easy, almost foolproof way for people to get into baking. That’s definitely how I started. A boxed cake mix is also a lot cheaper than buying all the individual ingredients, especially if someone is only going to make a few cakes a year. That said, a cake made from scratch definitely tastes better, and other than measuring the ingredient isn’t really much harder than using a box. Once I started baking from scratch I never went back to the box.
Put parchment paper or wax paper circles in bottom of pans

Nice easy recipe. However, you do not want to cook in pans where the Teflon has worn off. It can be harmful to you. Read up on this. You should always use good cookware.

I made this cake last night. What I did was made the cake, poked it, poured on Banana pudding, layered fresh bananas, frosted the top with fresh whipped cream then topped with crushed Nilla cookies. With all the extra yummy, no heavy banana extract flavoring was tasted. When I use box cakes I add more eggs and a little pudding, and depending on the cake I’ll sub milk, butter, yogurt, apple sauce, OJ, carrot juice, etc. I’m sure you do the same? maybe $45 for 2 color design, $65 for full color?, that doesn't seem too high for the average family. Cheaper price will keep the print heads from clogging, increase word of mouth sales, cake serving platter could have your information. I hope you sell at least 3 a day.
