  Works for me with my old Zyxel NAS. The only mismatch is, that the parameter in fstab shoud be "vers=1.0" instead "ver=1.0"

  followed all the steps and got the final bootcode was successfully updated message as well, still my laptop's stuck on the same blinking cursor. Any help here?

  In LibreOffice, just go to settings - User interface, and you'll immediately be able to change the layout to be more like Microsoft office, plus there are more options that you can choose from! Besides, you get all the functionality for free

  When I turn my lap top on, with the download on the USB installed, all I get is the blinking curser. I do not see a boot menu. The booting is not recognizing the download. What do you suggest?

  Hey guys, I tried what was in the video but it didn't solve my problem. After researching a bit more deeply, I noticed that my TIMEOUT, which is an option located right next to the one in the video, was set to 0. All I had to do was change the time to 10 ( can be any time in seconds). Maybe this is your problem too.

  I agree with most comments. Linux just sux. I can get stuff done in windows that takes hours changing permissions updating file permissions. And I was brought on UNIX. So like one comment said you need to know the answer in order to ask the question.
