Okay, I like the comic dusk but the one that's going to be used in the show feels like Peter just tried to rip off black panther, seriously if you add some ears and remove the wings, that's literally just the original Black panther suit
Yea I guess they changed it to make it easier to see. Also no one is fucking with John Romita Jr. At his peak! Thats why the dusk suit in the comics looks as good as it does a lesser artist and it looks shitty

This was an amazing video. I loved your personal side relating to the manga. We all have dreams as kids and eventually let those dreams go, especially when we compare ourselves to other people. I can relate as well, but I also do not want to give up on my goals. We just have to remind ourselves that we are capable of anything with faith, discipline, and perseverance; as a Christian and a nerd I should know better, but I let comfort get in the way at times. Awareness is another factor to consider because we can be the one sabotaging ourselves. Thank you for the video!

I actually love The Batmans artstyle, im a sucker for that edgy 00s style of western cartoon mimicking anime while still being distinctly western unlike say Castlevania and i actually love the unique character designs the show had. I actually miss that timeperiod of cartoons completely reworking characters to where they look unrecognizable from how they appear in the comics and the new superman show almost a throwback to that era

Ngl, my first reaction was to absolutely hate this idea when I first heard it. It just baffles me that we can't seem to get a proper Dr. Doom on the big screen. With a little more thought, although I still think this could fail spectacularly and that it kinda reeks of desperation, I think there's a way this could actually work in a narratively and thematically meaningful way. I just straight up don't like the idea of him playing Victor von Doom, so if that's their plan, no amount of stupid multiverse justifications is going to make this a good idea, but if they make him a Tony Stark variant inspired by Superior Iron-Man, just with some Dr. Doom aesthetics, this could be really interesting. The idea of using the multiverse to see what Tony Stark could have become if he hadn't been kidnapped in Afghanistan and forced to undergo the transformation of character that made him into a hero could be endlessly fascinating and a thenatically significant reason to further expand upon Tony's character, and making this Tony want to save the multiverse by becoming the god-emperor of whatever's left is equally on brand for a villainous Tony Stark as it was for the actual Dr. Doom in the comics. The possibility of Marvel trying to make the white male legacy hero the bad guy in order to artificially prop up the far less interesting or endearing Ironheart sounds cringe and right up Marvel Studios' alley in "current year," but it sounds like Marvel is now at least aware that it's been making poor decisions lately and is interested in earning back the audience's love and trust (if only its Mouse overlords would get out of their own way). I also just don't see the Russo brothers agreeing to come back to do something that tasteless after all the effort they invested into giving us the best take on the Iron-Man character since the original Iron-Man and closing out his story in such a satisfying way in Endgame. The fact they supposedly called him Victor von Doom has me concerned, but introducing him in Fantastic Four: First Steps leaves me hopeful that they aren't trying to make RDJ into Dr. Doom prine of the MCU and that they still have the door open for there to be a proper Victor von Doom in universe. The trick, then, would be to make sure that a new Dr. Doom feels appropriately dangerous and ambitious after a Tony Stark variant is given what was arguably his greatest acheivement as a suoervillain. Perhaps one of this Doom's motivations could be trying to seeking his own pathways to ultimate power so that he can ensure that nothing like what will happen in Secret Wars can ever happen again (thereby signaling a closing of the book on the multiverse and moving forward).
DAMN! you wrote a script for me here, i agree with alot of the points you made and in the vain of being honest i was initially really excited about the thought of RDJ playing doom but when i was scripting and recording i started realizing what this does to Kang in terms of his placement among top tier villians switching focus to Doom Nerfs Kang hardcore I'm all for Marvel building up a multiversal threat i think it can be done but with only one movie of set up can Doom truly be that?i guess that relly depends on how successful his introduction in F4 will be. I Still think recasting Kang would have been the best option for right now i'm gonna wait and see and hope to GOD i love this new F4 movie

Doomsday is to replace Kang, whom they killed off in quantumania and stopped in Loki by preventing his rise. We all knew Doctor Doom was going to be the next bad guy, we just weren’t expecting RDJ! 🤯
i like the idea of RDJ but aa Doom but they showed so many Kang variants at the end of Quantumania that they really geared up to a Kang army its a shame we won't see that outcome
@@HeroCourseDropOut I agree! Disney has a terrible habit of not recasting black actors after the Rhodey incident. They don’t have a problem using the same actor twice, just not replacing them with someone else which they should have done with both Kang and Black Panther. And yes it would have been cool to see where the variants could have taken it, instead they used Loki to prevent them all from ever meeting and starting the war but if that’s true then how does he who remains still remain? I think they overlooked that part and just replaced him with Loki’s glorious purpose. I don’t know how how I feel about RDJ playing not just Dr. Doom, but the bad guy of the MCU in general. See Ryan Reynolds made the terrible joke that he was marvel Jesus, but it’s RDJ they’ve chosen to resurrect and I don’t think I like the idea of Stark now being Doom. The possibility of a variant of RDJ being someone other than Stark kinda screws up the variant plot. Even if he’s from a whole different Universe and time. He should have still been born a stark, unless he is born a stark and they just use his credentials of a PhD to represent his doctorate and the persona Doom is just cause he’s evil and wants to destroy everything. 🤷🏻♂️ Idk it’s confusing. He is a great actor like Jack Nicholson, but something feels wrong! I think he chose this over coming back as Iron Man because of the conversation he had with Joe Rogan about putting back on the Jersey!

This was an excellent family movie that happens to be set on the Ultraman universe. So good and that after credit scene left me hooked. I hope they make a sequel soon

So at SDCC it was revealed PENGUIN was gender swapped and will now be Oswalda Cobblepot and voiced by Minnie Driver. I wonder how many people who hated "my take" will change thier minds and now start hating the show before a single episode comes out?
I first saw the trailer for Caped Crusader and immediately started to search the show up, and then found a bunch of videos talking about a gender swapped Cobblepot and I just…cringed. First Kill The Justice League, and now this? It doesn’t work… I do love some of the redesigns of other villains though, Catwoman especially looks really cool, but Harvey looks a little bland to me. I felt like you’ve made some pretty solid takes, except for your opinion on Robert Pattinson’s The Batman, that take was a big stinker. Don’t worry though, Under The Mayo is still the crowning jewel of having bad takes about Batman Arkham Knight lol

There's a bruce aspect in btas that the batman neglected. There's no character study of bruce. He's in costume 95% of the film. Batman lacks depth imo in this movie.

I, too, am scared of Matt Reeves and JJ Abrams' names being on the cover, but I still have hope for this. I don't expect it to be as good as the original, but I believe it still has potential. I do love how it's actually focusing on his detective skills more than other iterations have been doing recently. As long as it's better than that one certain comic line _(cough cough, Scott Snyder's Court of Owls, cough cough)_ then I'm cool with it!
Nothing annoys me more than a batman fanboy who's too biased towards BTAS and can't except a different batman adaptation. The batman & Batman the brave and the bold couldn't be more valid takes on the character.
I'm willing to accept good adaptions of batman. I don't consider those as good adaption. Brave & bold has some decent episodes but its not what I like about batman. And I just outright don't like the batman. I don't like the way it looks, sounds, or the changes it made to the mythos.
@@HeroCourseDropOut IMO it making changes is a good thing. It can't just be BTAS 2.0 and honestly I think The Batman does some things better then BTAS. it handled Robin, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Alfred far better then BTAS.

How is reeve's batman a "dumpster fire of a movie" it made really good numbers and it might be one of the best batman stories ever after the comics and btas. If it's not for you it's totally ok it's your opinion but that does not make it a fact.
i didnt say it to be a fact. this whole video is an opinion piece. Batman has a long and storied film series and there are some truly bad films, The batman for me just doesn't do anything for me, its long drawn out there are too many "connections" that undermine viewer intelligence, or pander to non-batman fans for the sake of being able to wrap the story up as conveniently as possible. I think it's better than either Schumacher film under almost everything else.

As for the movie, I believe you misunderstood the themes of it due to the replies I’ve read on other comments. I do agree that Bruce Timm without Paul Dini is a little worrisome but I still have faith
so i've actually watched the movie again after dropping this video and i tried to have a more open mind but it took me 3 days to finish. i fell asleep twice watching it. all my critiques of the film remain somewhat the same, but i have to add one more i think the movie is flat out boring, it doesn't engage me the way a film should, and Matt Reeves is PIVOTAL to the planet of the apes reboot and those films are so thought provoking, i dont know why his sensibilities didn't translate to batman imo. I really wanted to give it another chance that maybe in 2019 when i saw it i wasn't in the right headspace, but i was genuinely excited to see it then but left my theater supremely underwhelmed. there are some good things about it Colin farrel's penguin, zoe kravitz' body language shifts effortlessly when she's catwoman i think she is the standout in the film. but overall i think the film is a 6/10.
