Sounds like a plan. Good update. Look forward to some great videos.
That's the plan! Thanks for watching and commenting.
That's a nice watch, lovely dial, that brand has some interesting designs, especially their watch which has a map of The Silk Road on the dial. Thanks, good review.
Thanks for commenting. It’s a cool watch for sure. A friend is looking at getting the world time one. It’s a cool watch and for the money it’s got great specs. Thanks for watching.
Nice review
Thanks! Much appreciated. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Very interesting video
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Very good quality watch, i get that watch last week
Nice to hear. You will have to let me know what you think long term. Thanks for watching and commenting.
That's clearly not the "middle of the watch"
🤣🤣🤣🤦♂️ Clearly you are watching a different video.
That’s a lot of watch for the price. Yeah I agree only so much quality can be built into. $99 watch lol. Definitely not Tudor level but for the price and what it is, it’s solid.
@@daleydose6851 thanks for commenting and watch. Yeah it’s a good watch for the price.
****CORRECTION on the movement*** In the video I state its a Miyota 9015. Its a Miyota 8215, Miyota's version of the NH35. I was looking at another watch in I have that has a 9015. I caught this post production and no way to edit the video after upload. My apologies.
Very cool watch. Did catch your update on the movement for this watch. Thanks for correction. Still a decent watch.
My bad on the movement, thanks for the comments and watching.
Can you check the movement once more. The Amazon link says 8315 - very big difference. Otherwise, very nice video!
@@KP-wp5sz you are correct, I just posted and update short correction that movement is a 8215 21600 VPH movement. I caught this after I uploaded the video. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Mine is + - 0.454 seconds per day kicking hard COSC,s ass...!!!
It doesn’t get better than that. Awesome! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Flame Fusion is a layer of sapphire applied to a mineral glass for extra scratch resistance! if it hasn’t got Flame Fusion written on the back of watch then it isn’t flame fusion. This watch isn’t as i have this watch!
Yeah I was going off what was on the website. I’m going to have to check the back of the watch. Have had this for a long time. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The New Bulova MoonWatch Movement is not An Accutron!
No it is not.
All timing for the entire Space Program except for the official moon watch was Accutron!
Great point! Thanks for commenting and watching.
Great detailed review
Thanks, much appreciated. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Mostly the citizen eco drive sport casual. It’s pretty much a field watch with a day date complication. It’s 37 mm so I like the size and I can grab it and go. And I put on a canvas Barton strap, I think it’s more comfortable for the hot days. I’ll switch to my gw-6900 now and then too for the rainy sloppy days.
One of my first early military watch’s is a citizen chrono orange dial I picked up in 2000 and still have it. Great watches. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Casio f-91w or one of it's variants is what i mostly see on soldiers wrists it's pretty much the only timepiece our UK equivalent of the PX store sells . Always been a G-Shock for me when on exercise or in the field and an skx for other duties.
Very nice, skx is always a good call. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Well, it is embarrassing.. I served, for 3 years, in a special investigations unit, and we were on civilians clothes. (Now-Please remember I joined the army age 18🙏🏻),my watch at the time was a Camel Trophy kind of field watch, and I actually thought it was cool🫣… yet it fitted my style, and the job, back than. I truly regret not keeping it, now, many years later, after I started a collection.
Very cool. 😂 CID in the house. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Captain Willard is a OG soldiers watch, all others are pretenders!!
I have a Willard and it’s a great watch for the sure. The not sure. Move watch can be a soldiers watch from a fictional soldier lol. The turtle didn’t come out till after Vietnam, but was definitely wore later by the services. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Wore SUUNTO in the military. Now wearing Garmin Tactix 7 Pro Ballistic.
Very nice, I have sunnto, have not done a review on it yet. Saw a lot of Garmins warn by the infantry guys. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@DivingIntoWatches-jb5ri legs wear Garmin? prolly because maps and nav.
I’ve had my Casio AE-1200WH for over 3 years now and it’s been a great watch. I found it on sale on Amazon for $15 or $16. I couldn’t pass it up for that price but in reality, it’s worth 2 or 3 times that amount considering all of the features and the durability.
Totally agree. It’s awesome. Thanks for watching and commenting.
the american army is a terrorist army. shame on you
I really enjoyed your review. I’m a paratrooper from an earlier generation. I purchased my first watch, a Timex manual wound from the PX for about $10. My current Casio watches include the DW-5600, DW-290, and the AE-1200WH. They are absolutely rugged and reliable.
Excellent watches. I have aw1200 love it. I modded it a bit. $10 lol you are dating yourself. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@DivingIntoWatches-jb5ri yes I have a few years on you lol! I have some pictures of me wearing the watch while deployed overseas. I wish I still had that watch.
I have them both and they are both great watches in their own right. The BLP is a grab and go. It can time events to the nearest 10th of a second for the first 30 seconds. It has a saphire crystal that protects the tachometer scale from scratches. The 45 mm wears large on most wrists and the 43 is better. It has a butterfly clasp on the bracelet which takes some getter used to and no microadjust, only half links. The Speedmaster with the saphire sandwich is scratch resistant although the tachymeter scale is exposed. It doesn't time to the nearest 10th but can time up to 12 hours wheras the BLP is limited to 60 minutes. The modern speedy is 40 mm, fits more wrists and has on the fly micro adjust. The watch wears like a dream on my 7.25 inch wrist. Both are super legible. Both are great watches in their own right and both deserve a place in one's collection.
Great points, thanks for watching and commenting.
Wore the same one in the war and for years after until the strap rotted off my wrist. I think i wore a timex or casio my entire time. They were just tools to me and at the time i tossed them when they broke. Now i regret that decision. However i wasnt going to hump any extra weight. It wasnt until years later i got into automatics and now exclusively wear them. Thanks for your channel. Like you, my watches are based on military culture and our tastes are in alignment.
Much appreciated, totally agree and thanks for your service.
Excellent video. Love G-Shock.
Thanks for watching!
Great video. Very cool watch. Must own.
It really is!
Gshock OG watch for sure. A must have for any collection. Very cool, great review.
Thanks for watching!
Cool watch. Just received the GW 6900 a couple of days ago with multi band and solar and i’m really enjoying it. Not owned a G Shock with this case shape before.
Congrats on the watch. Gshock is. Must own thanks for watching and commenting.
@@DivingIntoWatches-jb5ri Love your videos sir, please keep them coming 👍
Greetings from Australia love your channel. I have this exact watch and its fantastic. You cant beat that amazing bevel in the glass edge. Just ordered the titanium bracelet (only comes with the blue and fume versions currently with this watch) so looking forward to how it looks. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the kind words. You will have to let me know how it is on the bracelet. Thanks for commenting and watching.
Yup I figured a Hangzhou (usually PTS Resources/Seagull). Is it actually an 80h PR?
I haven’t wound it to find out. I think it is. They didn’t confirm I the email communication I had with them. But I will definitely wind it and find out. They did say the movement model is 7590A.
@@DivingIntoWatches-jb5ri Awesome, yes the 7500 series Hangzhou movements I have are a true 80 hours, and several of them are dead on accurate (0 sec/day lost or gained). Others are less accurate but still acceptable (within 10 s/d). Definitely a bargain for that price!
One day I’m getting one for sure !
They are very cool and unique. Thanks for watching and commenting.
bought one and confirm its superb, only complaint is you dont get a bracelet with the black dial..only with the blue so had to buy the not so cheap bracelet, otherwise i cannot fault the watch or bracelet, the bezel is probably steel as it won't mark as easily as Ti
Yeah it’s a great watch. Bezel is steel wished it was titanium like the rest of the watch and the crown is a little small. But overall great watch. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The woman "Welly" met the guy "Merck" and they fell in love? Sure... 😂 But only after "Merck" defeated the 5 evil Wushu monks of the misty mountain citadel and the Two Headed Tiger to retrieve the Heavenly Emperor's crown jewels, which they are now working into their watches. Watch looks like the gaudy Frankenstein love child of a RM and a Hublot with some AP genetics mixed in for good measure, all of which in itself is horrific. I don't want to throw up in my mouth every time I look at my wrist. I also like my watches legible. That one is not. Super hard pass for me.
You know, many Chinese watch brands like to create little stories to give their brand some meaning. However, these stories are usually not very important. For example, PD has changed its name several times in the past, but that doesn't stop people from thinking their name is just a copy of a sports car or a type of vegetable, and they continue to buy their watches anyway.Because the products are good enough and are awesome for the price, and they are good at taking suggestions, for the most times.
@@BlueLightning1988 I'm aware of that. The Chinese generally do the same for their entire range of products. I just find the over the top corniness of the stories they come up with hilarious. Hence my little addition to the story.
😂well that was descriptive. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@veganbutcherhackepeter😂
Good to know. Thanks for the update.
You sound just like Steve Carell.
😂 my wife said she would have never made thank connection. Thanks for watching and commenting.
80h, possibly a Hangzhou? I have their skeletonized 80h on several watches and they run very clean. The dual seconds is odd, for sure. Nice to have sapphire at that price point. Interesting to know that some companies want to influence reviews. Explains some hyped (by other YTr's) watch brands I've found disappointing. Well done review with integrity!
I agree I think it’s a big miss for this watch. Thanks for commenting and watching.
Yeah I had one watch company I really wanted to review but said if I was to point out a negatives I couldn’t do the review. I said then I know all the reviews of your watch I have seen them are not valid. I said your watch if it’s as good as you say it should stand on its own. But I get they want sell watches but come on lol. Oh well.
@@DivingIntoWatches-jb5ri That's crazy, wow. Criticism is always the path to improvement.
I think almost any collector would gladly pay what little extra it would take to make this 100 or 200m water resistant that’s a downfall of a lot of cool watches made over there. My best guess on the movement is some kind of modified Hangzhou 7520 looks just like the movement in the pagani 1659 I have it’s a 4hz movement balance and spring are in the same position that’s a skeleton watch with a screw down crown and 100m WR I think I paid like $75 for it so if they can do it this brand certainly can too whatever the threading process and gaskets cost are worth it to the consumer
Totally agree.
Well done video.
Thank you very much. Greatly appreciated. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Looks like a decent watch. My only issue would be that you can't swap out the straps because I have an eighth and a half inch wrist and I have to swap out every strap. Other than that it's very impressive.
Totally agree. I would have liked at screw down crown but at this price point, can’t ask for to all lol. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Different for sure. Good review.
Thanks for watching!
Cool affordable watch. Screw down crown would have been a solid plus. Another great review.
Agreed. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The great thing about the off the shelf movement that some don't consider is that not only are Sellita movements are extraordinarily easy to get parts and replacements for, they're also very easy to regulate. That was a consideration made. Sure, some people who are just collectors or enthusiasts would want an in-house movement, but those could be unpredictable, not have parts available, or require unique training. The SW 200-1 ia a perfect choice for an automatic watch that is going to be out in the field getting banged up. Sure, a digital G-SHOCK that can be thrown away and replaced might be more suitable in some cases, but where this is the right choice, it shines.
Totally agree, great comment. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I also have this watch. Btw how much does citizen charges to replace the capacitor/battery? Thank you!
I have never sent my watches back to Citizen. I have a local watch repair shop that can service most brands. Any competent shop can do the capacitor change on a eco-drive. I would find one near you. You could also email citizen customer service and ask them. But local would be cheaper and easier I’m sure. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@DivingIntoWatches-jb5ri thank you!! Ill do that.
the crown is the weak point
Definitely. Wish they would have put the original size and style crown on as the original. Thanks for watching and commenting.
