  Pastor you are all over the place with your confusion. Let us start with the visionary and co-founder of the SDA before we get into the details of the doctrine. She was certainly a false prophet. She stole ideas for her first vision and for the Great Controversy theme from the false prophet Joseph Smith whose Mormon church had recently started outreach in her area. To be specific the idea of the saints marching on a pathway in the heavens was from the Book of Mormon and the idea that Jesus and Lucifer were of equal station in Heaven before God honored Jesus with a higher office and decided to make Christ the center of the Plan of Salvation. Ellen Gould White in her First Vision and other visions soon after 1844 claimed that God showed her that the Door of Salvation was closed to all but those who accepted William Miller's Midnight Cry predictions as true prophecy as regards the date of October 22nd 1844. She suggested that Christ would indeed return within 7 years of the Disappointment. For that period the congregation she was part of did not preach or take in new converts since their prophet had said God showed her that no more would be saved. When 1851 came and went she changed her tune, articles were edited and changed to omit the claims and she even made a lying declaration that she had believed in the Shut Door erroneously but that it had never been given her as a message from God. Ellen White wrote that the children of Ham (believed to be black people) were the most vile of all humanity and she taught that blacks should not seek equality with whites. Even after claiming that Christ's coming would be just months away, prior to the end of 1851, she and he husband and Joseph Bates went on to found the SDA denomination in 1863, having it officially recognized by the government of the United States of America, whom she taught was the False Prophet, the 2nd Beast of Revelation 13. Who does that? Christianity is not the white man's religion, you are right there but Western Christianity is the white man's religion and propagates a white God the Father and white Jesus image. That is the Image of the Beast. You have wrong information concerning Emperor Haile Selassie the First's visit to Jamaica in 1966. He did NOT make any statement by interpreter of not that he was not God and do not worship him. Please check your sources and facts. When asked by a reporter when he would tell Rastas he is not God he said "Who am I to disturb their Faith?" RasTafari people do not worship the Emperor's human person but the Spirit of the Trinity which is in H.I.M. Notice that no Rasta prostrated to him in Jamaica but treated like a fellow human being representing the Almighty. Haile Selassie means the Might of the Trinity. May this reach you in good health and a humble spirit.
