Crap sprayer... Had 2 of them and waste of money for 1200 bucks imo! Cheap plastic pump housing designed to fail in a relatively short time and you're up for 500 bucks to repair it if its out of warranty. There's better sprayers for the same price.
Hey Steven, that's such a shame. I have had nothing but happiness and fault free spraying for the 2 years. I clean it properly after every job and replace the spray tips and nozzles every 6 months. As a professional we may have different styles. Thanks for your comment. Always good to have different opinions
@@greglear5575 depends what you call professional uhmm... Greg. I've been painting for about 25 years. Is that professional enough for you... and yes I clean the ass out of the unit every single time. Wagner is crap.
i just brought same model ... but how do you lube the inside like pump ect like on other models out there?
I'm unsure, but I haven't yet and it not making weird noises and working fine 😅
@@aussiepaintingtipsandtrick9157 how long have you had it for?
Nearly a year, it has heaps of paint pumped through it but I clean it thoroughly every use
I have the same and is very dream to use that :)
I'm not one to get emotional attached to a piece of equipment...but I love the Mirka !!
How much price
Heh heh, never read the instructions first!😂
can't go rushing these things mate. :)
Good job 👏
Excellent video sir, mainly for showing the pressure used, which is the biggest doubt of newcomers like me. I live in Brazil and I have a control pro 190, I would like to know if you have used solvent-based paints, such as white spirit, my manual says you can, but I'm afraid of ruining the machine.
not as yet Majority of what i do is with water based paints either Ceiling flat, Low sheen or Acrylic Gloss. Also doing a lot of surface area. Im am sure once you have the correct tip in (a small fine tip) and find the right pressure the Wagner, it would be awesome

Seriously considering buying a sprayer to save time but with all the masking up and cleaning the sprayer, and then I see you using a roller. So there's all the usual roller washing on top! I think I'll stick with a big roller and brush but thanks for the video
No worries Alan, thanks for your comment. For me, a 5 minute clean up of spray gun is nothing. I am always using my spray gun when I can. But you have to weigh up 1. How many times a month/year you will use the spray gun 2. Is the job easier if you just cut and roll 3. Will you save time using the Spray ? If you're worried about a 3 minute clean up of a roller, it's not that big of a deal. Back rolling is a critical part of a professional job and makes a job go from amature finish to a Pro finish. Roll on mate
scared the hell out of that bug @ 4.00!
Hahaha, that was a plastic cap. I thought the same thing when I seen it
Not sure why your useing the little gun your airless would knock this out in a minute
Thanks JONO3679 for your comments. The overspray would have been an issue but everyone to their own.
Not sure who told you to use putty its the worst thing you can use seen lots of jobs ruined because the linseed oil came through there's lots of different products you can use now.
Thanks JONO3679 for your comments. There are lots and lots of products available as you suggested. This particular job the client insisted on putty...who am I to argue ?
@@aussiepaintingtipsandtrick9157 your the painter you know best. its slowing your job down and when the linseed comes through the paint your the one he will be telling everyone its your fault... putty shrinks to . You don't tell the mechanic what tools to use on your car ... why do you thing everyone stopped useing putty.
Ditch the filters ..you need to release the trigger each time otherwise your losing pressure and you never backroll the first coat only the last coat.. should take 4 hours to spray out the whole house if its 350sqm house ... and don't use oil for the doors and trim comes up just as good with water-based.. I would take the extension off they tend to clogg up abit after a few houses ..
Wow, thanks for your comments JONO3679. You input must come from many years of experience and frustrations.
@@aussiepaintingtipsandtrick9157lol yup all over nz and aus now I'm in the uk they have only just started getting into spraying here.. had all the wagners and gracos best one turned out to be one I got from China while waiting for my Wagner to be fixed.. bought 2 more they were that good...
Yeah mate, they are a great little unit 👍
@@aussiepaintingtipsandtrick9157 i just liked how light they were and or the spare parts only cost $20 and they just plug in without having to take the machines apart.. the wagners and the gracos i had to take to the shop for repairs.. if that one dies id recommend it .. what part of aus are you in .
@@JONO3679 Hello mate I'm from Uk and I just started using the sprayer, so you're saying it's better to use without the filter and extension? Thanks
