I carried out test by multimeter for my due as well. Other than those 6 injector driver, i also found 2 small MOSFETS which has issue as well. Do you have any idea which they are related to??

I don't to be honest, but I'm 99% sure if the legs have continuity between them, they are bad. Get the numbers off and replace them with an equivelant mosfet from digikey.com

is this checking always the rule for deciding whether the mosfet is bad or not. I carried out two small mosfets on the DME (which someone suggest it refers to Oxygen sensors, near Power Drive section), both Left and Right Leg got the reading on multimeter for connectivity. But the repair guy told me that he compared my DME to another one, which is for repair as well, got the same reading as my DME. He believes they are working fine. Any idea on this?? Please refer to the below link showing the photo for the above mentioned Mosfets which i suspect it is defective www.pinterest.se/pin/814588651321152629/?referrer=CwABAAAADDEzMTc1MjYxNzY3OAA

It looks like you have a Volvo s60. What is that gauge beside your head unit? Also, I just installed a JOYING head unit. My camera wasn't working until I hooked the red pigtail wire that runs with my video wire to my orange "back" wire. I hope you got your problem solved.

Just wanted to give you a huge thanks. BMW wanted $7500 to fix this problem in my 07. My car might get that in trade in running. With this video. A $2 dollar mosfet , $30 dollar injector coil and $50 dollar tv repairman who soldered like a pro got my BMW purring again. You made my year!!!

Michael, you MISS your 335i??? I just had my mosfets go bad, after having replaced: TWO Radiator Fans, 1 water pump , 1 thermostat, injectors, coils, changed plugs because of misfires , gapped them at 0.022" , walnut blasting, did all the work myself, and now THIS happens and I'm supposed to ENJOY ownership of this TRASH Vehicle??? How can you MISS such a wallet-destroying piece of sh!t ?? I'm so looking forward to selling mine and getting an EVO. I just don't understand how someone would want to go through the horror of owning a 335i again.

@@charles2353 Yes Charles, I do still 100% miss my 335i. Sure, it was a piece of shit sometimes and infuriating to work on, but I couldn't compare the handling, cheap Horsepower/Torque, and the learning curve of working on something that was more mechanically engineered, despite its MASSIVE amount of engineering flaws. It was a love hate. I just want one as a project car, but I would never daily drive an e92 335i ever again...I have to be fair about it lol

I'm having the same problem. Tried two different cameras. Wired it to the back light, didn't work. Then wired it to a switch, still didn't work. Hope someone finds a solution.

Did you get this figured out? I am having the same issue with a YINUO unit from China. Camera works with the AV-IN application, but not when I switch into reverse. I have a reverse 12v power feed hooked up at the head unit to the correct wire on the harness. The display just dims slightly when I go in reverse like it wants to work, but no video feed or app pops up.

looks like you have the aux in connected to camera instead of the reverse camera.

Very informative video. I'm suspecting a similar DME issue in my 2008 335xi based on what I've been reading. How did the repair go? Were you successful? I'm very interested to know. Thx.
