    Useless esc's, even with the programming card... Got mine working the best I could, still not much punch, then it'd keep slowing down as too hot (2s and 6.5t in 2wd buggy) then it stopped working alltogether.... just get a quicrun 120 g2 for £35

    Thanks for the nice comments Phil. I have to say that I liked doing the rugged forest terrain. In retrospect, I can say that the base should have been layered even more, especially on the edges of brown terrain and green moss. But otherwise I'm quite happy and the 1/72 scale seems to be quite forgiving, especially for trees. Thanks for watching :)

    - I spent many, many days/eves. working on my (GS02F) Blazer style body, only to have it "do the exact same," paint-flaking, off of the 0.040" inch [ body thickness ]. Plus, my 1st run, my body split by the head-light area, cuz I (during body-prep), slipped with the razor-blade, cutting the lowest part of the "front" of this body !! 🙄 Be very careful people, when cutting-out your Lexan bodies !!!! 👌

    - Well done "prep & paint video" !!! ...I love my Gmade (GS02F), it is THE BEST "forward weight-bias" RC Crawler available, besides the NEW Vanquish "VRD STANCE" !!!! ...I think the VRD "might" take/beat my GS02F, which is an ongoing customized rig !!! - I swear by this specific Gmade !! It will climb a flat board of (64°) incline, "up" my carpet-ed ramp !!! ...No other brand has been able to accomplish this on KZread, that I have seen. 👍✌️ - Thx for the vid

    Awesome video Brother! I’ve been in the hobby for a long time but I’ve never got into crawling. Would you be able to recommend me like a good budget trail truck/crawler 1/10 scale?

  • @willshobbytime
    @willshobbytime6 ай бұрын

    Unfortunately, I have no experience with budget class crawlers other than WPL and a one other chinese manufacturer, and honestly, I can't recommend them to others. Axial and Gmade have not disappointed. straight out of the box both are great trail crawlers. Gmade a little lighter works a bit better on rocks (axial is bit more top heavy and heavier overall)

    Nice diorama! I love the concept, and the execution! I haven’t made any dioramas yet, but I want to , do you have any recommendations for a good starter project? I don’t have a 3D printer or I would make one like this!

  • @willshobbytime
    @willshobbytime6 ай бұрын

    Good question, unfortunately I can't really advise on a specific starting diorama. But if you're interested in sci-fi, I'd recommend researching the Star Wars theme, there's a lot of material ready for that topic, for example Star Wars Legion figure sets that can be really fun to paint. You can make a nice battle diorama with them. I hope this helped little and thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
