I cooked my vrumbly mess in a large staonless pot on medium keep adding water and until smooth (took almost an hour) lots of love and patience , added rosemary and apricot oils (little) stick blended short bursts and poured back into my mold 😅

Do i need to use lye ? What would happen if I didn't use lye?? Also is that cederwood oil and juice of lime??
You do need to use lye in order to make traditional soap from scratch. The absence of it will leave you with oil and pine tar. It will not saponify.
Both cedar and lime are essential oils.

Does the pinetar smell like that old tar soap? Cant remember the name to save my life !!! I remember T-gel
I don't know the smell of T-gel, but I can tell you for sure, it does have a very pungent burnt tar smell in my opinion. I'm definitely not a fan of the scent when making it, but once it's cure for a while, I don't mind it at all. Thank so much for watching and asking questions.

You are completely correct. Soap making is just like baking! Flanking is just to get up again and take the challenge as a positive practice! I’m a beginner it is taking wonderful inspiration and emotionally rewarding.
I absolutely luv sea food!! But I’m allergic to all my favorites. Scalloped,muscles,oysters and clams. I never had allergies before I was pregnant w my oldest and I had ( I’m Sicilian) my mom get me stuff clams and they were huge and I ate all 8 of them. I was 7 months pregnant. N I started not to feel so well and my uncle threw me in the car and made me chew 2 Benadryls which saved my life cause I went into Anaphylactic shock. I can have regular fish and I can still have my shrimp, lobster and crab. I also luv me some steak cooked rare n most meat I’m fine with.
