  Suddenly I stumbled upon a video with people dancing to a song named Ladakh Dhani. Was curious because I from Ladakh. Listening to his story made me realise that we were historically in a similar kingdom, allowed to visit wherever we wanted to. No,wonder we have many traditional similarities, same landscapes, some common words as well(as I came to know that you guys call the trumpet Surnai and we call it Surna/Hareep, most probably Ladakhis adopted these from Hunza side as in Tibetan tradition we don’t see such instruments like the Surna and the Daman(drums).   Hello, I’m from Ladakh. Actually, I was confused if this music is related to Ladakh, as you have mentioned Ladakh. We have the same Trumpet, we call it Surna/Hareep and drums (Daman), your Daman is a bit different. We also dance a slow dance on these beats. Glad to see ❤ Juu hy
