Hi - great video - thanks. I have a couple of questions - 1. are all excursions with the whole group together or can you go off and explore independently? 2. can you opt out of going on a particular visit and stay on the boat? 3. is there something organised every day? 4. do you have to be up and out early (I like a relaxed start to the day!!) Many thanks

Hello! Everyday is your own to explore with the group or by yourself. I will say there were a few days where the remote villages would be beneficial to stay with the group, however, in the larger cities/villages you can go off and explore on your own. We stayed overnight in Siem Reap and had the whole day to explore. You can opt out of planned activities. A few guests chose to remain on the boat and use the spa facilities or just read and relax by the pool. There is always a planned outing/experience every day, sometime two, but all are optional. There is an evening briefing before dinner every night where the tour manager will talk the group through what is on offer for the next day, including start times. I think the earliest we were off the boat was 8:30 but we usually averaged being out and about by 9:30/10. Again, any time were were docked you could leave the boat and explore. Any other questions please let me know :)

@@alexfry_ Thank you so much - very helpful and reassuring. We have never done a cruise before and whilst we would join excursions we don''t 'like being 'over-organised' as have always travelled independently. Thank you again!

Alexandra, did you get any inoculations before you went?
@alexfry_2 ай бұрын
I didn’t get anything for this specific trip, however I did carry malaria tablets. Some guests took them while others did not. I believe it’s personal preference.

What a great trip you had. What was the most new snow you had in a day. Thanks for the great vid.

Hi @rickden8362. We skied an abandoned ski run which had about 80cm of fresh powder.

Nice video! Have you stayed in the same hotel during the whole stay? And travelled to all the difrent ski resorts? If so how long where the drives in the morning?

Hi @AQUACAMTM. In Nozawa Onsen we stayed in one location. In Furano, we stayed in one place and travelled to the different resort every day. Approximately 1h of driving every morning. Great way to see different areas

We departed from Australia to Japan. We travelled with Whiteroom Tours in a group of four friends. We were based in Furano but travelled to a different resort most days chasing the best snow. Sahoro, Tomamu, Kamui, and down to Otaru to ski Kokusai and Kiroro

Our tour was in July. Perfect weather just a little humid. Unfortunately water levels are unpredictable. We had low water but APT made everything so easy.
