I see it more as a setup cost, each bucket and spade will get used a 100 times, works out €0.08 per use, that's how my brain works! 🤣

My sister uses Abbeygate, I use Gan Direct - not sure there is much difference although Abbeygate sound like they are being really helpful. Surely your UK bank, whether they like it or not, can't refuse to do the transfer - it's your money not theirs. Good luck. x

What about a wise account, i transfer money to my dad every month in spain no problem, and the exchange rate is really good. All you need is your Iban number from your cyprus account to transfer to.

Hi Paul, It’s not so much that it’s Revolut, the CY bank want me to transfer the money from a bricks & mortar bank in the UK. They won’t accept a fintech type bank such as Revolut, Wise, Tide etc for the immigration deposit. I’ll have to phone my lawyer on Monday, as I’m sure the 10k has to have been in my account for an amount of time to show it’s my money and I haven’t borrowed it.

Yeah to be fair mate, I only looked at the nuggets being €7 which is more than the cafe types we've been going to, but I did notice that a pint was €3.20 which is cheap for the location this is. I don't think €73 for 10 drinks & 4 meals is expensive! Was a great day anyway!

We got married in Coral Bay and used to visit every year for years. We were last there two years ago and it was a bit run down to be honest after all the covid BS, but looks like it has had a nice makeover. Hopefully we will be back soon from sunny Scotland !

@@NuttersInCyprus not PG sadly we could give you a lot of tips been Cyprus lots before COVID 5 times since COVID stayed in paphos but going to protaras end of August for the first time. If you go to the chefs garden in Paphos he has moved over there and opened his business with his young family they are a great family and do great food.

The Japanese restaurant Samisen is tapenyaki. Its more of a show with food. The table chefs are amazing and its fun and a great show for and with the kids

We have never been to Greece but said if we fail Cyprus immigration we would go to Greece due to similar language plus it’s not as strict to get into the country. If Greece fails we would get a motor home or go to Asia and just keep pushing forward

@user-us3ul1pp3o depends on their age, Protaras is great for beaches and nightlife is more bars, we didn't see any nightclubs as such! We haven't been out out in Paphos, but told some parts are lively till early morning. Beaches in Paphos / Coral Bay are nice also. If I'm honest, if I went back to being 14-19 age, I'd be happy in both areas.

What about a wise account, i transfer money to my dad every month in spain no problem, and the exchange rate is really good. All you need is your Iban number from your cyprus account to transfer to.
Hi Paul, It’s not so much that it’s Revolut, the CY bank want me to transfer the money from a bricks & mortar bank in the UK. They won’t accept a fintech type bank such as Revolut, Wise, Tide etc for the immigration deposit. I’ll have to phone my lawyer on Monday, as I’m sure the 10k has to have been in my account for an amount of time to show it’s my money and I haven’t borrowed it.
Can’t you transfer the money to your lawyers account?
@@paulcl1966 very possibly, I’ll be giving them a call in the morning to find out my options. I’ve tried to send again but Revolut and playing dumb, I’ll be expecting a call from the CY bank tomorrow as well. Busy day tomorrow!

Yeah to be fair mate, I only looked at the nuggets being €7 which is more than the cafe types we've been going to, but I did notice that a pint was €3.20 which is cheap for the location this is. I don't think €73 for 10 drinks & 4 meals is expensive! Was a great day anyway!

Mousaka is my favourite Cypriot dish .Just in front of Stifado and Afeilia .All absolutely delicious mate 👌

We got married in Coral Bay and used to visit every year for years. We were last there two years ago and it was a bit run down to be honest after all the covid BS, but looks like it has had a nice makeover. Hopefully we will be back soon from sunny Scotland !

Strangely enough this video has out performed all but 3 other videos, but that could be down to a number of things! @@NuttersInCyprus not PG sadly we could give you a lot of tips been Cyprus lots before COVID 5 times since COVID stayed in paphos but going to protaras end of August for the first time. If you go to the chefs garden in Paphos he has moved over there and opened his business with his young family they are a great family and do great food.

Hi Tom and family Coral Bay Strip is looking great now after the refurb with lovely bars and places to go into but unfortunately we are at the other end of the island so won’t be able to go and have a look along it

@@NuttersInCyprus We are in Pyla near the Larnaca area we have property there we bought it when my late mum was alive about 19 years ago so just me and my dad use it for holidays and we are coming out 5 weeks on Wednesday

The Japanese restaurant Samisen is tapenyaki. Its more of a show with food. The table chefs are amazing and its fun and a great show for and with the kids

We have never been to Greece but said if we fail Cyprus immigration we would go to Greece due to similar language plus it’s not as strict to get into the country. If Greece fails we would get a motor home or go to Asia and just keep pushing forward

Hi mate. For family holiday would you recommend staying in Paphos or Coral Bay (and then get taxis/buses to Paphos)?
@@user-us3ul1pp3o Hello mate, there’s everything you need in Coral Bay, I’d imagine it’s abit busier in Paphos, but you wouldn’t have to leave the Coral Bay Area if you didn’t want to.
Thanks pal. One further question. I note you have just been to Protaras. Which resort do you think is better for young teenagers, there or the coral bay/Paphos side?
@user-us3ul1pp3o depends on their age, Protaras is great for beaches and nightlife is more bars, we didn't see any nightclubs as such! We haven't been out out in Paphos, but told some parts are lively till early morning. Beaches in Paphos / Coral Bay are nice also. If I'm honest, if I went back to being 14-19 age, I'd be happy in both areas.
