  Wonderful to see and hear the formidably complex and rich orchestration reduced to 2 hand piano and still the harmonies are just as beautiful. I feel these songs are Strauss at his absolute best!

  These fall so short when just done on piano. Strauss’s orchestration are other-worldly! “Being Schlafengehen” is my most favorite art song EVER

  Man vergisst, dass es ein Kunstlied ist und nicht für Solo-Klavier: ich bin versucht mehrmals auf Wiederholen zu drücken, so wunderbar spielen Sie diese Begleitung! Strauss ist ein genialer Liedkomponist, aber Sie tun ihm volle Gerechtigkeit!!! Er w@äre sicher entzückt. Jetzt kann ich natürlich nicht anders als das Lied einzustudieren!
