Joe morello, buddy rich. John Bonham and of course Mr Peart. That’s my personal drummers Rushmore. That’s the cool thing about music is you can have your own favorites because music is art. Thank you gentlemen for inspiring me to play percussion

Sorry, I’m 61. I’ve been a Steve Perry fans since I was 14 years old and seen them probably 10 times and it was nothing like this. The crowds would erupt and it was full of people. It was magic. They just don’t have the same magic without Steve Perry.. Period.

When you have only 3 band members everyone has to be amazingly great in order to produce this type of sound! Picture perfect. 😄

Throughout the unfathomable void of space and time there exists an entirely unremarkable sun... no different or distinguishable from trillions of others floating in random orbits. Each surrounded by countless orbs of gas, stone and liquid. As far as the human eye can see or ear can hear, the only sounds are the static hum of unseen suns collapsing into themselves, punctuated by the thrum of pulsars sputtering out of existence. Yet around our unremarkable sun orbits this little planet. Humming with voices strange and familiar. Voices of those who scarcely glance upward and outward to contemplate the miracle of human being... We singular creatures. We who lightly and carelessly treat the grandeur and pure impossibility of our very existence. We who fail to grasp our own significance simultaneously ignorant, innocent, nascently oblivious to the universe within which we are castaways. Toiling aimlessly away on our grain of sand and never comprehending the limitless expanse in which we float... Yet we are. Humans, being. Among us are stars. Points of light who transcend the mundane and menial of the crowd. Alex, Geddy and Neil are such points of light. They created energy and threw it out into our little world to excite the mind and inspire the dreams of those around them. And we few, we lucky few who were born with the advantage time, technology and grace, are here. We are able to absorb the energy created and shared... Thank you for sharing. It means more than words can adequately express.

when i know that Neil and Alex actually got arthritis at that time make me wonder "that must be hard and painful" how much painkiller they'd take. still they're professional to actually get through all those tour.

Took my son to see Rush in Deeside (North Wales) in 1984/85 I was in my mid 30’s . Loved them then and had gone along to several gigs following that with both my sons. Amazing band and Neil Peart will always be fondly remembered.

Alex is busy on this song. Playing Bass pedals during a lead is really a spectacular feat. Of course Neil & Geddy are very busy also. My favorite band since '76.
