How wonderful. Thank you for uploading this rare gem. This was the first music I heard on my first trip. I have never forgotten the experience. Virgil Fox playing the Toccata and Fugue in D minor under the stars on a warm summer night so long ago, but so clear in my memory. Again, thank you for offering this opportunity to delight in and be uplifted by this extraordinary performance.

"Burdon has a clumsy knack for coming out on the other side of a bad idea--after "Monterey," which is just silly, then "Sky Pilot," which is so silly it's wonderful. His stint with War was a bummer, but who but Burdon would think of teaming up with Jimmy Witherspoon? Mike Curb, maybe. This is good in the casual dumb Burdon way, with sloppy interpretation balanced out by brilliant song choice (Chuck Berry's "Have Mercy, Judge"), sloppy arrangements saved by a brilliant young guitarist (John Sterling). Recommended to his fans". - Robert Christgau, The Village Voice

A solo album from Firesign Theatre member and voice of Nick Danger, leaning hard into his love for country-western, genre fiction, satire of evangelicals, lampooning kink and sexual repression/liberation, and hatred of Nixon! Whats not to get?

omfg! I was born in 1966 and in the mid 70s my parents would go to what they called "friend" parties. Anyway, i would get to set and listen to any one of about 200 vinyl albums through headphones while setting in a bean bag. Found this tonight because I was bored with tv crap and was surfing the web. Best thing I have found on the internet! Dont know who put this out there but thank you!!! Brought back wonderful childhood memories along with a few belly laughs.

Isao Tomita's style of interpretation of classical symphonies and musical pieces has amazed me since he first appeared in music stores in the 1970's. I remember clearly the vivid image and very large elaborate display, at Spec's Music, of Tomita's "Pictures at an Exhibition." It caused awe, and a draw to want to purchase it out of curiosity. By the way I had worked at the toy store right next door, at Westland Mall Hialeah Florida, if anyone remembers.
