So I do a lot of silly stuff here. Sometimes I use this space to post videos for my students. Sometimes I write about hiking. Most recently, I've been documenting my spiritual journey. I got bit by two different spiders on my right leg. My leg blew up like the size of Texas! I honestly thought it was a tick at first. Lyme's disease makes you more sensitive & aware of other insect bites.🤢 No I wasn't in the woods I was in my house. Please Keep resting! By now you should have finished the medicine. That incense sounds beautiful 😍 I will say that, while it will continue to be a controversy, Paris did not intend for the opening ceremony skit to represent the Last Supper, but a Greek Bacchanal, attended by deities and characters more represetative of the spirit of the games. Which makes much more sense that the claim of the Last Supper bit. But, the cards have fallen, and here we are 🤷🏼♀️ Thank you again for sharing this box. ooooh, I am going to remember the circle!! Thank you @Sassy! I am not sure representing the Greek Bacchanal is any more tasteful, as that was a festival of wine and was known for orgies and whatnot. So, either way, I'd prefer the Parade of Nations, lol. But, it is what it is, and they made those choices. The athletes don't have a ny voice in that process, so I am sad that people are boycotting the Olympics over what the athletes can't control. Those athletes worked hard to get there, and they deserve our support.

Will it lessen the longer your medicated? My doctor told me today that I will always have it and you can get it over and over because our bodies don't become immune :(

I’m so sorry for you to learn that you have Lyme disease but it’s good that you were able to have early detection of what was causing you to feel ill and not your best..it is crazy that dogs have a vaccine and humans don’t maybe that was another reason Mannaz came out that more communication about finding healing remedies need to be researched and have more awareness for it, I really don’t know much about it sadly but I just hope you keep up the health visits and check ups so you know you’re doing well and keep us updated about it as well 💞 Sending you much love and light as well as healing energies 💖

Glad you got answers and hope symptoms improve quickly. We live just south of Reno and have had so many ticks this year. 😳 Thankfully the kind we have don’t tend to carry Lyme disease, but picking ticks off the dogs and sometimes ourselves is 🤢

Oh no! Sorry to hear you got Lyme. Interestingly, there was an FDA-approved Lyme vaccine called "Lymerix" made by GSK (SmithKline Beecham at the time) on the market as of 1998. It was voluntarily discontinued by the company because of low demand that more/less resulted from bad perception from a couple negative reactions. The research community is well aware of the need, but you know how pharma can be. If there's no perceived ROI, then they don't do it.
That was one of my guesses and/or the vaccine they had in the pipeline didn't pass the final inspection!

Good morning lovely BRG 🌞 oh man I can relate to how you're feeling I had Lyme's disease about 15 years ago. I never go out in the woods hiking like you do. I asked myself the same question why don't they have a vaccine for Lyme's disease? They have one for dogs! It was a long long progression of healing it took me about 5-6 years to fully recover & feel like my normal self. I hope yours doesn't take that long. But then again my immune system was compromised at the time. Sending you lots of love & healing energy 🙏❤️

Lyme disease is definitely no joke. I’ve known a couple of people online who were diagnosed with it.
I feel for you. I know nothing about Lyme. We don’t have ticks or fleas in Vegas due to our lack of humidity, the heat, altitude and lack of fauna. Of course we have to watch out for them if we go to Mt Charleston. We have other evil stuff. 😂. I hope the meds help ease the bad days. 😢
