Why did he keep dumping his load halfway through the pass? We were taught when you had a snootfull to take it to the end.

Without knowing his objectives it's hard to say, but unlike many other drivers this operator is backing up just far enough to fill the blade to max. In other words not over using reverse gear trac rolling ripped ground. The way he has that machine working he's skilled individual.

what a really great dozer they were and are unbeatable in this video theres a great combination of a careful driver and a tractor than rip and doze with ease in harsh conditions long live the d9
