The Athens Democracy Forum is organized by the Democracy & Culture Foundation (a non-profit organization), in association with The New York Times. It convenes leaders from government, business, civic society and the nonprofit sector to debate and explore real solutions to the most pressing issues facing democracy.
The forum is attended by over 400 international delegates from more than 40 countries including policymakers, politicians and diplomats; corporate (CSR) executives; notable academics and engaged students; NGO, Foundation and think tank leaders; youth activists; and media experts/practitioners.
