This might not be Stevie singing, It might be Greg Phillinganes playing the electric piano and doing his best Stevie impression for the demo recording. You can hear Greg talking in the beginning and then say "I forgot all the words." He probably did it for Quincy Jones to show to Michael. Greg does a really good Stevie impression.
