    No, it’s not supposed to stick out. Watch the video at 0:18 - Here you can see how the blade should fit in the razor.

    After sampling several different fancy artisan soaps for a few years, I ultimately went back to Proraso as my primary go-to shaving soap. It's a good-quality soap sold at a fair price, and you can conveniently find it at most pharmacies and supermarkets here in Canada. Gimmicky soaps don't give you a better shave; practicing your technique does.

    We sell a lot of Proraso products to both ordinary users, enthusiasts, and professional barbers who use the products in their barbershops, so I think the short answer to the question is: There are a lot of people who do 🙂 The brands you mention are also very popular and likewise produce some fantastic products, so in the end, it's just a matter of personal preference. We carry more than 150 different brands related to shaving in our assortment, so there's something for every taste and budget. Have a great day!

  • @ProshaveDk
    @ProshaveDk10 ай бұрын

    Yes, but as with most other things, you get what you pay for, and in this case, we’re really talking about a shavette of exceptional high quality. If one uses it daily as a tool in a barber shop or wants one of the best items in the bathroom without having to worry about stropping and sharpening, then this is a good option 😊

    @@ProshaveDk I have Muhle razors R89 and Rocca and I love them but in this case I don't think they can justify the price. Boker Barberette pro is also from steel and is 5 times cheaper than Muhle !!! Focus slim is full aluminium and is 4 times cheaper !! Also Parker it's full steel both handle and blade and it's 11 times cheaper !!!!! All of them they will last a life time even in a barbers usage so sorry but I do disagree.

    @@_Dimitris And of course, you are entirely within your right to think so. Naturally, there are cheaper products on the market, and thankfully so. In our book, MÜHLE's Enthusiast Pro is at the absolute top when it comes to quality and craftsmanship. Please let us know what you think once you've had it in hand!

    Is it better than the R41? Been thinkig to buy one but don't know which one (sorry for my bad english)

  • @ProshaveDk
    @ProshaveDk Жыл бұрын

    The R 94 is a high quality stainless steel razor and will most certainly give you a great shave. It has a closed comb compared to the open comb of the R 41, so the shave will probably feel a bit smoother for most users. When it comes to aggressiveness I would say that the two a pretty close. If you want top notch when it comes to materials, we would definitely recommend the MÜHLE R 94 🙂

    HI, I'm a new subscriber! Can I ask you an advice? I want to buy a Rocca Razor. But i'm not sure what model to buy. I have difficulties to choose between this model with the DLC coating and the steinless steel model. I have seen that you have both, what do you prefer? And i wanted to ask you if the coating of the black one, after years of use, have some scratches? Sorry for my English, thank you!

  • @ProshaveDk

    Hi Arianna The short answer is: It comes down to taste. Go with the one that you like the most! You won't go wrong with any of them as they are both excellent and beautiful razors. No, even after long term you should not have any issues with the DLC-coating. Personally I went with the matt steel version (R 94), but as I said, it all comes down to taste. I took some quick snapshots for you, so that you can compare the two razors: www.dropbox.com/sh/j7tdu00d9ccyg6v/AAAueBix-Lvdbwq92MW03g94a?dl=0

    The cartridge isn’t grabbing the blade to push the new blade into the razor. Any suggestions?

  • @ProshaveDk
    @ProshaveDk Жыл бұрын

    Sounds like a defunct cartridge - I would give it a couple of small knocks to see if the blade is somehow stuck in the cartridge. See if it works if you load with the razor and cartridge upside down, so that gravity helps a bit..

    I have had it about 6 months or so. It’s my everyday shaver unless I use one of my other 6! Haha. I try and take good care of it. Clean it with a tooth brush after every use and dry it and have a stand for it. I just got the aggressive purple one and no issues with it. But have only used it a few times. I consider myself to have sensitive skin and the Henson is working the best for me. 🇨🇦

    Henson should make a more traditional razor stand that will hold multiple razors. I have all 3 Henson razors and a couple of other brand razors…. A nice stand that could hold like 6-8 razors would be a lot more compelling IMO.
