Great video! Is it possible to add a pivot setup plus the ojapro body damper?

This is probably the best upclose explanation on the front AT system. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, very insightful. Def gonna make it on my next build. No grease needed between the carbons?
@theprofessor.m4d3094 жыл бұрын
Michele Ferri you’re welcome! It’s kinda personal preference to grease the sliding damper or not. Some use none, some a little oil, others hard sliding damper grease. I figured this system was advanced enough that people making it would do what they are used to for lubricant.

4 roller not allowed in asia
@theprofessor.m4d3094 жыл бұрын
GC Tube Hi, official Tamiya rules since 2018 is unlimited rollers. That is what is used in Japan, it’s used in the US which are the two countries I race in. If your country uses other rules, then you need to adapt what you see to it.

Question!! 5mm pipe external diameter is 3mm But hole is 2.9mm?
@theprofessor.m4d3095 жыл бұрын
2.9mm because your drill is likely not perfectly straight and you need to file a little to make everything smooth anyways. So start with slightly smaller hole and then open it up slowly so the sizes match better and there is less play in the system.

Hi. I tried doing your at bumper but i used a pivot instead. I was wondering if you also have a tutorial to make the sliding damper? Thanks
@theprofessor.m4d3095 жыл бұрын
Hi, I don’t have a tutorial for sliding dampers. They are annoying to make so I just buy mine from others who make them. I know Mad Tang sells them. I have some ideas for an AT system with pivot bumpers, but need to experiment a bit to see if it will work correctly.
