Could you please do a short video on the separation of the two halves and where the 8 tabs are? I'm having the hardest time at that point (28:00-31:30). Updated: Nevermind! I got through with a screwdriver. Thanks for this video.

Did not know know of this, but was thinking recently what if the mouse damages, if it will be possible to replace with another, I think if there is a Chip ID it can be like in Apple devices, some IC responds for that ID, you would find a good mouse from other set and take the IC from yours and solder to the other. My keyboard stopped working and it also won’t charge. I got my keyboard a bit more than a year ago so it has passed the warranty period. Mine however is a Bluetooth version. Do you have any idea about what could be the issue?

Thanks for the fantastic video man. I've been trying to find out if it would be possible to lube this keyboard in a simple manner, but now as I have seen the switches in detail, I think it doesn't make any sense.

To make removing the screws around the feet much easier (and not having to worry about them stripping when removing them at an angle) you can remove the feet by first removing the rubber pads on them (they are sticky glued) and then you can remove the screws holding them in, they are two screws holding the rear ones and only one screw on each of the front ones. After removing the screws the feet will easily pop off allowing you to get at the screws hidden underneath them. And as far as the part where he used a broken tweezer to separate the two halves I just used a skinny screwdriver and after finding the spots the tabs were in holding them together I just give it some good force in that general area with the skinny screwdriver and it popped the tabs out.

Hello, I think you can unstick the rubber pads and under them could be the screws which hold them in place. There could be some dirt most probable and it will require only cleaning.

I cannot believe I found this video. Helped me take apart my RCK to fix my right arrow key. There was some corrosion blocking the metal connectors on the switch from meeting the PCP board. Wouldn't have figured it out without your help. Thank you so much!

Hi, glad it helped to fix your keyboard, in fact this is a second video we made, the first video had bad quality and sound so we decided to remake it and here it is.
