And this man is playing Satan in helluva boss...words cannot begin to describe how screwed i am XD
I wonder if he would ever come back (Mr. Sullivan if you're somehow reading this please please come back and bless our ears once more)
OMG! My affection for Dina is at an all time high!
This guy is going to be Satan in Helluva Boss! Cool voice
Now he will voice acting as Satan in Helluva Boss.
RENT is a great musical, but JFC Seasons of Love is overrated.
Dina is coming out to the sticks next month and I get to see her for my birthday! I can't wait!
🫢 oh my goodness wow wow oh my goodness I am shivering. Shivering I got chills chills his voice absolutely amazing
Just wow ❤
Wilson Jermaine Heredia for me is the best Angel. But what's not to love about all of them. RENT❤❤❤
song?
Is that Robert De-Niro?
Does anybody know if Daphne is an alto? I really want to know what voice type she has it’s gorgeous 😱
This guy’s range is incredible.
Daphne is such a treasure ♥️🖤
This is so cool
Please record an EP. This was one of the most special evenings of theatre I’ve ever had, and the songs were excellent.

I do not like Without You much, but this version it's fantastic
Ever time I think I'm over Damon's Orpheus I hear him and I'm like, dang it!!!! ❤️
I love the huge scale broadway set but there is something so special and intimate about this that cannot be replicated.
This is unwatchable.
How can this man be Hades AND Frollo in the Hunchback. The ✨range✨
I bought Season 1 of spin city on dvd so I can watch the cast of rent small appearance over and over in season 1 episode 17 what they did in that episode was wishing the mayor a happy birthday :)
WHEN WAS THIS
Leonard Cohen in the later years
i just miss them both so much (love reeve and eva but she specifically is what got me into it when i was a wee tot)
I always imagine this song as almost a 1930s speakeasy. Except instead of the great depression it's actual hell in more or a tangible sense, which she's trying to free the workers from. Brilliant. 🥲
I want Dina to sing this at my funeral.
Absolutely beautiful work! Thank you everyone for sharing your energy with us. I am an actor who's long been out of practice (20 years) and happened upon this workshop serendipitously. I closed my heart off to acting long ago because I felt the universe was blocking me from my pursuit. Watching this inspired me and confirmed that I truly do love this art form and work. I just had an epiphany related to your workshop exercise. I've been trying to figure out what I really want in life and I've been trying to figure out what direction to take. This is how your exercise relates: I want to check in with what I'm feeling to acknowledge it and have it merge with the text. If I'm aware of myself and the text, we can co-create life. Like you said Maria - Maybe what I'm feeling is exactly the opposite of what the text calls for, but it informs my choices and gives clarity. This is not only an acting exercise. It can be a life lesson and a relationship lesson. How do I relate to others? How do my emotions co-create with others? Are we on the same page? Am I understanding you? Are you understanding me? Am I listening to myself? Am I being authentic to myself? How can I move forward genuinely - truthfully with everything I am? It might sound silly and simple - "Just do what feels good." But I was so used to shoving down my true emotions or bulldozing my way through life out of fear. I never really - listened. I just tried to be what others wanted me to be or force my idea of success. What a lovely acting and life lesson. Thank you thank you thank you all so much. 💖💖💖💖
I NEED A FULL VIDEO I WILL SELL MY SOUL
Is that TOBY FROM THE LAST OF US?
daphne rubin-vega is one of those performers that only comes around once in a lifetime! she sings from the soul every time
Her voice is so rich, it’s so insane
She’s one of my favorite voices of all time
David Hasselhoff was sitting on my left in the aisle seat when my husband and I were blessed to see Wilson and Daphne in the Broadway “Rent.” Brilliant isn’t bright enough to describe Wilson’s “Angel!” I’ve only cried twice at a Broadway show, and that was at Rent and the Wiz of 1975.
I saw the play in boston wen i was 13 19 years ago which is crazy that it feels like yesterday wow such nostalgia
I want to believe that had Sondheim lived to see this, he would have loved it!
She's so good
Oh those looks the Fates shot him lmao
Would pay good money to see these two come back for a second chance
PLEASE make the filmed version of this production available for purchase if you can!!! i know there's the broadway version out there rn but surely this one is different enough that a recording of it wouldn't be as ethically iffy... please please the NYTW version is my favourite thing ever
These 3 made a small appearance on the show Spin City season 1 episode 17 in 1997 on paramount plus :)
What the 3 cast of Rent did on Spin City season 1 episode 17 was wishing the mayor a happy birthday
She's marvelous and terrifying.
Good stuff!
She should be in jail for seven months for election interference
imagine if the music from the play sounded like the record xD
So good !
