Just use wired carplay. It's not that hard, you get a direct connection so less lag and it's a more reliable connection

Noise reduction. They've been doing it for almost 30 years on Lexus.
Yeah like others said its for noise reduction, as a mechanic i saw this pop up in the European and exotics first then of course it trickled downhill to the lesser brands over time. I hate em too and it used to be actual 10mm bolts holding them on but now its all plastic clips on everything. Somedays i wonder y i am a mechanic lol

My 2019 camry se has the fabric stuff, not hard to wash either
maybe the Camry is different but on the chevy it is hard to clean out.
@TrucksandWater could be, it is fairly flat, not to fuzzy but for the most part ya just drive in the rain or use one of those "power washers" at the car wash if it is a bit clingy with dirt
Sound suppression it suppresses road noise. That's why there's so many companies doing that car buyers wanting their vehicles to be quieter, quieter and quieter and quieter every year. In short, there's a whole lot of vehicles out there that are being built. Keep people happy because they want to have their cake and eat it too and always that there are some areas in the country that have road that may have road suppression, noise laws in place

Nice Truck! The stock torsion keys can lift the truck 2” if adjusted. You don’t want to go any further than that or you’ll max your suspension so it won’t have downward travel if you hit a dip the front tires will loose contact. Also the reason the front and rear wheel-wells have an inch difference is because the truck is designed to have an inch of rake, it is not designed to ride level with the frame but for the wheel-well gaps to look level with an inch of forrake.
Gas can’t be 1 dollar a gallon the country would be losing money bc the price to buy it is more than that per gallon so it’s a waste

Bought and installed in my Tacoma. One of the coil units went out after less than 100 miles. Emailed customer service and they wanted model number miles driven. I supplied and then have never heard back from them. Have tried 3 different times over a month nothing......
