Lifelong Giants fan here. I remember going to a game vs Dallas on Christmas Eve, (my birthday). Sitting in the Giants end zone, Bill Bates had his back to us. Giants fans showed nothing but mad love and respect for this man.

Funny how the University of Texas didn't want him because they though he wasn't bonafide enough & he absolutely tore it up at Ohio State where there's better competition that brings out the best of players. Now he's about to tear it up at the NFL level with the Ravens. Once he betters his pass catching skills he will be the complete three down back.

Anthony, UT definitely wanted him and JK liked Charlie Strong. But, it was poor timing in that Ohio State pressed him hard to understand that UT was not going to compete on a national championship level during that time frame.

@@axemm18 UT always has a top five recruiting class yet as of late rarely sends guys to the NFL. It's almost like they haven't been relevant since the days of Vince Young, Rod Wright, Michael Huff, Cedric Griffin, Cedric Benson,, David Thomas, & Brian Roberson to name a few where 15 years ago UT Austin wasna factory of talent where guys went to the NFL in groups year after year.
