I wish I learned about rescues a long time ago. This video was very good, but the sewing is a bit confusing. I think I need to learn how to sew properly anyway since I just guessed on how to do it in the past.
Oh my goodness, thank you! This was very clear, and immensely helpful. 🙏
I love all your wollen jewlery, Thanks for teaching us to make it ourselves. How much yarn did you use for the necklace ?
Thank you so much. Lovely pieces😊
Glad you like them!
As usual, all my gratitude. Thank you
Such a lovely tutorial and resulting in a sweet piece of jewelry! Thank you!
Thanks for the instruction Lucy.
Thanks for the instruction Lucy.
Just what I was looking for. Thank you!
I’ve just completed a mitred JAYGO blanket, minus border. I think this approach will work well for me. Thank you!
Thanks this is so so cute, I'll use this for my grandson !!!
Another fascinating technique by Lucy Neatby! 🎉
Ridiculously cute and zazzy.
Thanks for this lovely titbit. It's a bit fiddly, but so cute and perfect!
Thank you for the new to me increase method and the double knitting for small diameter idea. Sometimes I feel like one of those little crabs that sticks things all over its shell except with me it's bits of knitting knowledge.
You are so welcome! I’m happy to add to collection of titbits!
Thats cheating
Would this work when knitting in the round?
Great idea. Thank you.
Wow! That join looks amazing. This was so informative. Your tutorial is great. Thank you.
Great explanation and technique. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing Lucy. The garter row bump adds such finesse to your blanket. You have a very excellent teaching style.
Thanks for the tips.
No ribbing for the cuff?
This is genius! Thank you so much 😘
It opens huge possibilities - many thanks.
Thank you for this, it makes so much more sense with contrast yarn
Waste yarn is your friend!
This looks so finished, once again great tuto !!!
Thank you and happy stitches to you.
As usual, your tutorials are great. Thank you very much
Glad you like them!
Great technique. Is there a pattern link for the domino blanket?
Thank you for this clear demonstration. 💐
The corners look lovely, thank you.
The garter bump row-as-you-go is utter genius. Thank you!

Thank you Lucy!
Dear Lucy, your cacophony of colours is always so heart warming. I love the joyous riot of beautiful boldness with which you brighten our world. Combined with your knowledge and pleasure of crafting I’m always enlivened by your stitches and colours. I also love mitres and your treatment of them in this blanket is wonderful. Thanks for sharing your happiness in a blanket.
Thank you for sharing! I love the garter bump accent and the border for this blanket. Could a similar process work on the Domino Baby Bonnet pattern to add the garter bump accent?
Instead of knitting one row and purling one row for the garter bump, why not simply purl one row instead?
I’m curious to know what yarn you’re using Lucy? I love the beautiful bright colours.
I love the way you add the garter bump in a contrast color, what a creative idea. Thanks also for showing how you knit back from the left needle to the right, it saves so much time and manipulation of the heavy blanket. My shoulders thank you !!!
What a serendipitous surprise! I'm a passionate knitter & love to make quilts by hand. I've had long covid since 2/23 & only now did I try to do what I love. As it turned out, I could only baste EPP. I've been basting through the template. Your method seems much more efficient. Also I don't see a need to ever remove the basting, since it never is the right side. Still can't knit. <sigh>
Love the colours! Thank you
Great tip, thanks !
👍😁🍀thank you. The Netherlands 🖐️
WOW...just WOW!
Thank you so much - I felt it was an elegant solution! May your stitches always smile!
Have you written and knitting, or pattern books? Names, please. I would love to purchase one or more!
Yes! You can find my patterns on Rav and at LittleBarnStudio.ca - I have 3 books, 16 dvd titles and a bunch of classes with Craftsy. Rav has only patterns and books, but Little Barn also offers the virtual DVDs. Thanks for your interest.
Oh, this truly is magic! I can't wait to use it 😃
Many thanks - I hope you have fun with this technique. For many more grafting tricks I have a full YT playlist titled Grafting.
How can I follow this canal site and look at the photos and videos please
Hi Neil, I'm afraid I have only posted one video of my canal trips (the rest are knitting related). However there are any number of narrowboat Vlogs and videos available on a quick search. I follow NB Liberty, NB Oleanna and couple of others.
Thank you so much: that's really helpful and exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks for watching.
This seems to be a much easier way to graft a toe rather than using the Kitchener stitch off of the needles. Thank you. I’m going to give this a try on my next pair of socks.
Thank you.
Thanks for watching - waste yarn in grafting is very powerful magic! For more on this subject I have a YT playlist titled Grafting and my Finesse Your Knitting 1 virtual DVD is available at LittleBarnStudio.ca. Fearless Knitting on Craftsy also includes other applications. Wishing you many happy stitches! Lucy
