  This is near Morbe dam. Look for chauk railway station. You will find trail going parallel to morbe dam. You can go upto pirkar wadi. Beautiful Trail

  What is your tyre pressure?? I don’t think installing throttle controller will increase mileage unless you drive jimny in ECO mode all the time.

  Nice long term owner's review,Pawarji.One question,was there an increase in fuel consumption after you changed to Conti Cross Contact AT tyres ? Also did you observe a drop in the fuel consumption average before fitting the throttle controller or later ? Am asking because my need for severe offroading will be rare and in snow/black ice may contemplate stock tyres with snow chains.Of course I first need to source a set of good snow chains compatible with 295/80/15,beforehand.

  There will be drop in mileage when you upsize the tyres combined with throttle controller. If offroading is very occasional for you, then changing tyres doesn’t make sense as stock tyres are capable enough to tackle most of the situations. But throttle controller is must to remove pickup lag in Jimny. If you just play around with Throttle Controller & put in Auto or Eco mode, there won’t be much of loss in terms of fuel consumption.

  @@bikerpawar thank you for replying.My driving style is sedate and I use the L/2/OD Off options to modulate rpm so even the Throttle Controller will not be surely missed by me.However snowchains for extreme icy conditions if at all I do a winter drive,is what I have in mind.Any leads on reasonably priced snow chains for the stock tyres ? Happy Jimnying.

  Eco pe thodasa mileage badhega lekin, throttle controller ka kuch khas benefit nahin milega. Put in Auto / Adapt mode. 80-90 pe chalaoge toh mileage milega accha khasa

  Hi, I'm using the same Conti tyres in my Automatic jimny. Getting an fuel economy around 10-11Max with avging 20-35 kms of Offroading in each tank. 1st is it considered to be Ok fuel economy ? 2nd Installing a throttle controller will increase any fuel economy? P.S: I drive upto 80kms max speed on highways.

  Thanks. These are actually two places. First one is Pavna Lake where you can stay by Pavna lake and do some water activities. Place is known as Jumbo Resort. Second one is offroad trail known as Kamshet Wind Mills / Sai Off road track kamshet. Beautiful trek. There is one more known as Slopes of Hell but try this if you are very confident with your vehicle. You will enjoy

  Good video, I am from Himachal & congratulate you for this accomplishment. Its not easy to do Spiti, both physically & mentally. One more thing I can assure you, now that you have done Spiti, if you are a mountain person you will realize the urge to come back after a few months. Also, would wait for a video on your overall Spiti experience in Jimny. Performance, braking, mileage, comfort, challenges, pros & cons etc. Thank you! Another question, where did you et the roof rack & do you see any drawbacks of this roof rack like wind noise etc.

  Bilkul bhi nahin. mera automatic hai toh gear shake ka toh koi baat nahin hai. Steering agar brake marne pe shake hota hai toh wo front brakes ka issue hai. Brakes ko polish karoge toh shaking ruk jaayega

  Jimny will NOT sell good numbers. The car is still overpriced by at least 2.0-2.5L. The interiors remind us of the early 90s or if the commercial vehicles...except the touch screen. There are other mid size SUVs around the same price which provide so much > value for money... Kia, creta, Volkswagen....etc. Agreed that the purpose of Jimmy is incomparable with the quoted cars....but there has to be value for money also. It's an old technology 'K' series Suzuki engine + basic interiors of 90s.....at a price of latest engines and top notch interiors from competition. There's hardly any arm space for the driver and the navigator on either sides... The current pricing of Jimmy will kill the product. . . . It will never see the numbers grow.

  In simple words, Jimny is not for everyone. Anyone seeking comfort and value for money, should definitely look at other vehicles but this little monster is special. You can feel that when you are out in the wild..

  GV AWD is best for long trips and daily use. Although Jimny can do everything including hardcore off-road but if offroading is not priority then GV is better with good mileage

  This will reduce your mileage if you drive in ultimate mode continuously but if you drive in auto or economy, it won’t change much. Overall 1-2 kmpl will be reduced

  I don’t have their number. You can google it. Wrt, exchange value, that all depends on conditions of your old tyres and current market value. Better you speak to them only.
