Want to cover a real nba conspiracy nobody knows about? Look at Phoenix vs bulls and how Paul Westphaul ,Kevin Johnson, and the refs gave the bulls that series. I'll explain. When Dan,Danny, and Dumas was at the 1,2,&3 the Suns ran the score up. But for some strange reason Paul would substitute Kevin for Danny and he would magically give the ball away or make a bad shot. There was even a commercial during the series asking about Paut coaching. Im pretty sure the cyber nerds can find it. Thank me later

I gotta say, I really liked this video and the 90s Saints video. I'm a lifelong Saints fan down in New Orleans so it's nice to see good historical content about us. Now, I was 12 when the Saints won their first playoff game, so I was pretty young but I was starting to understand the game more, I'd just gotten NFL 2K for the Sega Dreamcast and that was when I'd say I really learned football. The main thing I remember from this era, more than anything else, was the intense hatred my parents and everyone their age had for Aaron Brooks, and I believe it really came down to a few things: 1) He was never consistent, he would have his really good games and he would have some atrocious games, and he was very streaky. Honestly in hindsight how I'd describe Derek Carr today really. That alone wouldn't have been so bad if it were not for 2) how he dealt with the bad games. He smiled when he threw picks and that just really rubbed people the wrong way. I remember vividly the time he just literally dropped the ball behind his back going for a pass and again, the smile afterwards. I read somewhere that was a stress coping mechanism but I couldn't tell you where I read it or whether that's true, but noone would've realized it back then anyway so it just came off more like he didn't care. Which is probably massively unfair, but it is what it is. Noone liked the vibes. 3) Another thing that did not work in his favor is, and I loathe to say this to this day, but he got outplayed by Mike Vick. No rivalry anywhere, even outside of sports, quite measures up to the rivalry between New Orleans and Atlanta. You can do alot of things wrong down here but if you beat the Falcons, you will get cheered, and you can do a lot right but if you lose to the Falcons you'll get a lot of hate. And it definitely did not help matters that part of the pregame hype at the time would always be reminding us that Brooks and Vick were cousins. Did not help the inferiority complex I think fans had surrounding their image of Brooks vs Vick. Tbqh I don't think it truly dissipated until Brees truly destroyed Vick's mystique in 2006. And the last thing 4) He got shown up by Jake Delhomme. A local good ol boy made good. I have distinct vivid memories of the Dome erupting in chants of "We Want Jake!" And then the team let Delhomme go to Carolina and lead them to the Super Bowl. Brooks was dead in the water in the eyes of fans after that, he would never be forgiven during his career in New Orleans. And if you ask me, that's what actually happened. Brooks hit a ceiling, a ceiling that was not high enough for Saints fans seeing what Vick had done and what Delhomme was doing, and it just kind of broke the man's confidence. I don't think he was the same player after the behind the back drop and "We Want Jake". I do think there is a happy ending though. I know I am super nostalgic for this era and I think every Saints fan my age is, and Brooks was recently in the Dome for a Saints game and he got a huge standing ovation. To this day I do not hesitate to point out that statistically there is no question who the second best QB in Saints history is, and it's Aaron Brooks. If I ever got the chance to meet him today, I'd totally try to get an autograph and a picture, because despite it all, I do think he's a Saints legend.

Thank you so much for the comment. I really enjoyed reading it. I really like your last paragraph as I think that's cool you think Brooks is a Saints legend. I enjoyed making it and I was so happy to make a historical video for the great Saints fans. I miss that Saints - Rams rivalry.

I met Dutch like five times. The first time I met him he talked to me for 5 minutes I could not believe that this guy was talking to me for 5 minutes. And people were telling him come on we got to go and he kept talking to me. That right there made him my favorite because he wasn't my favorite at the time but he was after that. And all other four times I met him he was the same way he remembered me which is amazing he remembered what we were talking about. So I miss dutch so much. God called him home and I'm sure if heaven has a baseball team Dutch is catching for it. Lol. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Dude I'm a Philadelphia Phillies fan for over 40 years and I totally respect that. I would have not like Darren Dalton if I was you for doing that to my guy. Darren Dalton was funny he was caring he loved his teammates and I'm so happy that he was able to win a world series in the end. Because of one guy the Phillies could not get that accomplished with him. Carter single-handedly beat the Phillies in the world series The guy was untouchable. When Dutch passed away it ripped my heart out he was my favorite Phillies player at the time when he played now it's no secret JT is my favorite. It's not because I was a catcher playing baseball It's just it worked out that way I love JT just as much as I loved Dutch It's like watching Dutch all over again and I love it and I am so happy for my Phillies right now.

The afc in 2004 and 2005 was very, very tough. In both years, every division had at least 2 teams with winning records. In 2005, the chiefs missed the playoffs despite a 10-6 record. The nfc? Very, very weak

If the 1989 bengals won at least some of their many close games, they'd probably be afc champions that year. Cincinnati swept cleveland and pittsburgh and blasted houston 61-7. Those 3 teams made the playoffs, and the bengals went 5-1 against them. They outscored their opponents 404-285. They finished....8-8?

George Seifert would be in the Hall of Fame today if he hadn't taken the head coaching job in Carolina. Seifert held the highest winning percentage of any coach in NFL history until he coached the Panthers. George Seifert's Carolina Panthers went down in history as one of the worst teams to ever play in the league....his time in Carolina ended what was to be a certain Hall of Fame induction.

Furthermore, there were reports of personality differences but in short, Himes was not a Reinsdorf guy. Thank you so much once again and enjoy the rest of the baseball season.

Your comment about 1991, sorry I missed that, I did not know the Cubs were division favorites that year. 1995, was certainly interesting and like you said "of course 98". I enjoyed doing this video because I found myself so relaxed just watching early 90s Cubs day games being played at Wrigley. I wound up watching some of those games and chilling instead of editing and working on the video. I'm not sure if I will do it this summer, but I want to do a video about the best team to not make the playoffs which would be the 2004 Cubs as there was so much craziness with that team.
