I know june jones was a bad head coach, but he's a great qb coach. His run and shoot offense proved to be effective. He helped develop Hall of famer warren Moon and helped develop another pro bowl qb in chris Miller. In 1995, the Falcons had 3 receievers go over 1,000 yards, including a special teams returner

Thanks as always for your great comments. I have always been someone who's defended the run and shoot offense. I hope to do a video about that later on. Also, great extra information. June Jones with ATL and SD had his rough times in the NFL but I thought he did a really good job in college at Hawaii and turning around SMU. Thanks again for all of your support.

If not the greatest arm, surely one of them. And some, when they're running, you can see the power in their speed. Michael was one of those. Another K-Stater, David Allen, was also. Check out the vid, Special Teams U, on this site.

George Seifert would be in the Hall of Fame today if he hadn't taken the head coaching job in Carolina. Seifert held the highest winning percentage of any coach in NFL history until he coached the Panthers. George Seifert's Carolina Panthers went down in history as one of the worst teams to ever play in the league....his time in Carolina ended what was to be a certain Hall of Fame induction.

I will always remember your comment. I was starting to do a San Francisco Giants video in the '90s, but I don't think I will be able to get to it. I did not expect a comment like yours but it was a great comment. So, I put a graphic up (maybe it wasn't up long enough as I'm not good determining how long a text graphic should be up to read), but anyways, that text graphic from the Chicago Tribune basically mentioned that Jerry Reinsdorf said Himes did a great job getting the team from Point A to Point B, but didn't think Himes was the guy to get them to Point C (a championship). Furthermore, there were reports of personality differences but in short, Himes was not a Reinsdorf guy. Thank you so much once again and enjoy the rest of the baseball season.

Big Pasty. What's going on? I understand how Cubs fans expected more postseason appearances after 1989. I don't know what to say. Your comment about 1991, sorry I missed that, I did not know the Cubs were division favorites that year. 1995, was certainly interesting and like you said "of course 98". I enjoyed doing this video because I found myself so relaxed just watching early 90s Cubs day games being played at Wrigley. I wound up watching some of those games and chilling instead of editing and working on the video. I'm not sure if I will do it this summer, but I want to do a video about the best team to not make the playoffs which would be the 2004 Cubs as there was so much craziness with that team. The Cubs in the mid-2000s had so much talent. Thank you so much. I'm glad you like the video. You're the best.

The true embarrassment in 1992 was losing at foxboro. The jets lost 24-3 to the 1-9 patriots. The woefully inept New england offense had 3 rushing tds, and the jets had just 166 yards of offense against a poor Pats defense. That 92 pats team was arguably the most injured team of all time

Prior to 1992, Daulton was the target of the boo birds who thought he was an injury prone pretty boy. From 1985 through 1988, Daulton bounced back and forth between the minors and the majors with a major knee injury in 1986 and a broken hand in 1988 that hindered his development. In 1989, he finally became the Phillies starting catcher, but hit barely above .200, which garnered him boos from Phillies fans. In 1991, Daulton and Lenny Dykstra were involved in an auto accident. Daulton came back from the accident too soon, his production suffered and he was the target of boos yet again. But Daulton always held himself accountable and never made excuses, which earned him the respect of his teammates and, eventually, the fans.

I loved that era of Saints football. It was a fun era. I was upset that they took us out of the division with the Rams and 49ers. I also remember that was when Vick was with the Falcons. He used to whip us. I still remember all of those Atlanta fans with those number 7 jerseys celebrating after they beat us in the Superdome. Say what you want about Aaron Brooks but he won us our first playoff game and had some good games for the Saints. He could be inconsistent though. I also remember one of those years, Joe Horn, Willie Jackson and Jerome Pathon all had thousand yard seasons. I love Kyle Turley to this day for ripping that dude's helmet off and tossing it. I know it might've cost us the game but the guy was trying to break Aaron Brooks' neck. Great video. I watched your vid on the 90s Saints earlier and it was also a great vid. I'm from Sacramento and I can't tell you how incredible it was when the Kings got good - such a special time. The start of it was Vlade signing, then White Chocolate giving a spark and C-Webb came alive. C-Webb was right for wanting out of G-State - I've heard things Don Nelson would say to him, and totally out of line. I think maybe you should do a video on C-Webbs rap album. "Gangsta Gangsta" is a nice track and C-Webb throws down dope rhymes. He pays for babysitters, he's nice with the dice, and he kicks it at the crib with J Rose and Jerome Bettis. Check it out if you don't know.

What going on drew8703. Much love for Sacramento. I remember seeing Chris Webber's rap album at a Best Buy then being surprised that Webber made a rap album. I can't remember the timeline exactly, but I think I saw Webber's album, then afterward, there was talk about Allen Iverson and his album but I don't think it ever got released because David Stern didn't like the lyrics (I can't remember the situation). But anyways, I will write down your video recommendation and keep it in mind. We'll see next NBA season. Lastly, the Kings were so entertaining from 1999 until the early 2000s. Sacramento deserved a team like that with all of those years being near the bottom of the standings. I really like the Kings. I saw a documentary about the Kings that I liked (I think it was called Small Market, Big Heart) that was very interesting with the team's origins in Sacramento and how dedicated the original owner was. I will always really like the Kings. Thanks again for everything.

By the way, greatest and favorite Norcal player from Sacramento is Onterrio Smith. His college career is so impressive because he transferred (perhaps euphemism ) and tben sat out, went to Oregon and had such a solid career there which was a path almost unheard of for a player to take and succeed back then. So many solid QBs in 90s that were shoved out because of the quest for the prototypical QB that would never pan out;, or, because the position was brutal and injuries were impossible to avoid. Jeff Hostetler comes to mind; Ken O'Brien, Steven Gerrard. I specifically remember hearing a football analyst say that the most important position in the National Football League was the backup quarterback. It was actually true -- the starter was always going to be out for at least a couple game stretch, or even knocked out in the playoffs, and there were backup QBs who actually could step in and win games, big time playoff games on the road.
