  I just tried this amp randomly at a music store and couldn’t believe how good it sounded. My buddy and I were and awe. What’s surprising too is how insanely low the background noise is, even with the gain maxed.

  Could you confirm if the Iron Man II needs the power supply to run? I received mine yesterday and tried to run it without the power supply (like the Iron Man Mini) and nothing happend. Then I plugged in the 12Volt Supply and it was running. Thanks. The Mini just needs the power supply to activate the LED, but the big one needs it for something else, doesnt it? And thank you for the video, it is still the best here on YT.

  Thanks so much for watching! Reach out to Tone King to verify but I believe the Iron Man II requires a power supply to operate. When I power it on, I hear a relay cycle.

  Thanks! Hmmm, either pedal would work. The Vital gives you more control over the mid and low content within the circuit.

  At the 1:01 mark I think I hear a nod to "Take It Off the Top"? I haven't owned a distortion pedal in a very long time (mainly gain pedals), but this demo has me wondering if maybe I've been missing something! As is always, thank you Shawn for a great demo.   Never mind. My goodness! This thing is amazing! Running through a 79’ JMP 100 watt, and using a maxon OD808 as a boost..: Between the amp, the attenuator, the boost pedal, and the pickup combo (bare knuckle neck and Billy and Becky Lawrence L500XL…..I am in tone heaven! So many tones and options. Haven’t stopped playing since I’ve figured everything out. And I’ve recorded some original stuff already on my phone. Love it!

  mid boost makes it sound massive. I prefer symmetrical, so much gain. I'd love to hear gain on zero, level up and an over driven amp.

  Another great demo (the other being Pete Thorn). I have a Mark I Rattler and it's something else - I have a Wampler Tumnus Deluxe that I use to boost it. Sounds amazing - never ceases to put a smile on my face. These two pedals have it.

  I remember being blown away when I heard the original Rattler for the first time. When I saw the title of your video I thought “how can you improve something that’s already so great?” So I watched your video, like I always do, and now I know! Jeeeez…, I’ve been searching for the perfect Marshall in a box style pedal. It was a long search, but I thought I needed that sound. Turns out I would probably be much happier with a Rat style pedal. This new one is very high on that list now. Probably number one. Thanks, Shawn! 🧡
