  Wonderful Philips. May I ask, which enclosure is it? How large is your room. The listening distance seems to be mid-field (around 1,5 to 2 meters)

  This is 270 l sealed enclosure, the room is somewhere around 14 m2 listening position as well as the distance between the speakers 2.50 m

  Yamaha aš retai klausau. Jos mano atskaitos taškas lyginant su kitom. Aš jas gerai žinau todel ant A/B jaučiasi kitų kolonėlių braižas ir skirtumai.

  У ЛОМО позиция может быть выгоднее, расстановка говорят нужно чередовать колонки. А так оба достойно играют, дело фкуса,, возможно в живую сложилось бы другое впечатление

  I really liked Accuphase, and I didn't have it left in the system because I borrowed it to listen to it. It has a completely different sound than my Marantz PM 11. There is not enough space to keep everything you like.

  Witam. Powiedz mi z jakimi kolumnami ten Marantz pm11s1 grał najlepiej ? Chodzi mi o impedanję. 4ohm czy 8ohm ? Bo u mnie ten Marantz pm11s1 gra z PYLON DIAMOND 28 i ledwo zipie , bardzo słaba wydajność prądowa. Pylon Diamond 28 mają 4ohm imedancję.

  Yamaha is better in everything. Kef only has a low-frequency imitation that is not felt by the body, so there is a strange feeling that something is missing. Kef is suitable as desktop speakers and near field monitors.

  @@philhall395 They look like NS1000, but the NS700X sound bright, boxy and generally unpleasant by comparison. Better as a studio monitor, everything but absolute perfect recordings sound bad, really bad.

  Sou suspeito para falar das NS 1000 Yamaha, pois tenho um par muito íntegro e original e gosto muito. Mas não apenas por isso, me parece que a Yamaha soa melhor na comparação proposta! Abraços do Brasil!

  Yamaha is clearer & bigger soundstage. I like 'the logic' of one driver only (full range ±20hz-20khz) speaker. But this fostex not giving a great sound compare to the three way sealed box of the yamaha.

  I agree that Yamaha is in a higher weight category, but only until does Jazz trio or vocal jazz appear in the playlist. Then the picture flips upside down. Thank you for your opinion and correct observations, it's nice that even on KZread you can hear a clear difference.

  oh really It will be opposite result on heavier music ? I wish i have lucky chance like u to experience it. I dont really had many2 REAL DIRECT exposed to many expensive set. I only had little(too little) expose to hifi(from the specialized brand & model). My dream brand so far like the old Krell, MusicalFidelity, Heybrook and others top known in/from the 80's produced. Ya, through online like this Utube, u can notice the different sound of any set... if u use good quality 'stereo speaker equiped' hanfon like im using to hear your this video now. My hanfon Redmi Note11pro 5g. A video like this really do help anyone who looking for a super a great set easier, thank a lot for your feedback/reply. Goodluck to u.

  @@aliedva , my set now comprise of 2nd hands bought and not of top models (i really mean 'model' not 'brand'), that is Pioneer A-221amp, Paradigm 5se mk2 speaker, GIEC Bdp-G3606 a newer Bd player product/brand from china(this player is a new buy, not 2nd hand), and 16awg normal house copper wiring/cabling, Its sound interesting(quite big and clear sound , but not hifi enough, still quite far to a better hifi sound). Yes, im REALLY waiting for enough cash... for better set. (Huh! really bad finance im, 🤦)

  ​​@@mohdrozakhiismail7273 When it comes to Jazz or instrumental music, the Yamaha still sounds transparent, more dynamic and the separation of instruments is better, the vocals also sound flawless. After switching to widebands, there is a feeling that there is more life in the music, the sound does not stick to the speakers, the music is easier to listen to and my ears like it more. When listening to electronic, pop or rock music, Fostex can no longer compete with Yamaha. I switch them according to my mood and the genre of music I'm listening to 🙂

  @@aliedva ok, i got it. Is there out there a better ported, or singgle driver speaker that can beat the vintage sealed box three way yamaha, that u prefer ? For now i dream of the two way ported speaker like from Pmc, proAc, AcousticEnergy, etc. (i prefer ported(front ported not back) speaker due to logic it provide less stress to speaker driver/cone, and also i like lesser driver due it will provide less colour to sound, i really will avoid three ways for my speaker purchase)

Their hi-fi setting is a lossless 44.1, 16-bit file, whereas their Master setting is typically 96kHz, 24-bit. It should be noted that their master quality can go up to a 384kHz sampling rate
