The fact that this song has 13 people credited for writing it and like 3-4 producers, Kanye being one of each of those is crazyyyyyyyy

Live to Tell like many of her ballads were from movie soundtracks. This one was from the movie At Close Range. Might want to do a deep dive before reviewing her albums. 😉

Hard Candy is definitely my least favourite Madonna album by a country mile. And yet, still a couple of keepers on it. But the general direction and production was 😬 It felt like, for the first time, instead of setting trends, she was following them because of how the industry views women over a certain age.

Did Ajay ever do “I’m breathless” before she stopped reacting to Madonna? Wondering if she ever heard “Vogue”

The funny thing is in your review of “Ray of light” you wondered whether “Frozen” was a James Bond song…and “Die another day” actually was 😅

I don't see any reason why many would think this album is bad. It seems like they never listened to Pop and EDM. There are horrible things out there. MDNA is superior to many pop albums I've had the displeasure of listening to.

7:47 That’s Meshell Ndegeocello (worth a listen in general). Originally it was actually Tupac (who she also used to date), but the record company forced Madonna to replace him because of the legal issues. But because it was so late in the game, she wasn’t consistently credited

Bedtime Stories is my number 1 favorite Madonna album! I think it's very underrated and sure, it's a little more toned down, but I still love it and I used to listen to the album on a portable CD player when I was about to graduate highschool before I got a mp3 player. It's a comfort album for me.

The only thing that bothered me about this review is that AIDS is still a pretty big problem not as bad as it was in 1992 but it is still an issue so I feel like this song still resonates today we shouldn’t turn our backs like it doesn’t exist and second and this is just me being picky she’s reviewing the edited versionthere’s still the track did you do it which was originally number 13 while Secret Garden was 14

AIDS is an immunodeficiency caused by severe malnutrition, an immune response to an excess of toxins (poppers, hard drugs) or some HIV medications like AZT, which killed HIV+ patients in the 1980s. That immune response is temporary, which is why people can be considered "undetectable."
