Sidney Reed

Want to learn filmmaking from a full-time pro videographer (and a film university professor)? Then you're in the right place. Stop learning from people at your level and learn from someone who has been successfully doing this for over a decade! I'm Sidney Reed, a Fortune 500 film director and videographer with over 15 years of experience. I'm lucky to earn a living doing nothing but filmmaking and love teaching on the side, and I want you to have the same. On my channel you will learn:
➤ How to become a full-time, paid filmmaker
➤ How to stand out from other average videographers
➤ How to run your business and get paid right
➤ How to be creative in your thinking (and stand out from the rest)
Anyone can hop on KZread to be a regular videographer, but many won't make it in the real world because they're learning from other people at their level. You're smarter than that, right? Learn from an actual director and college professor, and get ahead of the rest.

Funny enough I was going to ask what you thought about John Wick, but you kinda briefly touched on it. Could you react more to John Wick, Jaws, or Gladiator (the Russell Crowe one) please? Thanks so much, awesome content as always 😁

It's interesting but the premise is flawed. Movie sword fighting is not attempting to imitate fencing. Fencing is a sport. Just like jiu jitsu is a sport. But a jiu jitsu match isn't an actual street fight. Fencing isn't an actual sword fight. Movie sword fighting is attempting to replicate actual sword fights.

Hello, thought there were different types of rapiers. Not all were so thin. That’s a cup hilt rapier in the video. Also I thought rapiers were the same weight as regular swords , the metal was just shaped differently. Cool video

The biggest reason for the fight ending up the way it did is because of the size difference the broadsword and rapier are similar length but your opponent is a foot taller than you so his extension will naturally be longer which is funny because the rapier is supposed to be the real reaching weapon.

Great VIDEO. Wish it was shot horizontally. The vertical format is lame. With all due respect.

@3:40 Bro you don't even know what a real sword fight is. The stakes in your little fencing ballerina dance are not high enough to extract the kind of stress and motivation a real life and death sword fight would. Moreover, your swords are the kind that were used much much later historically speaking. There is very little overlap between the way fencing swords are used and how medieval weapons were used.

that was a fun but a pretty worthless video. Even the 'expert' seemed to struggle with the facts. Alfa gpc, Lions mane, Microdosing shrooms, EPA And DHA omega have all turned me from being a zombie to firing on all cylinders. There is credible research on many of the nootropics if you search for it. Also the 10% of brain being used might be a myth but again it's not really if looked at another way. There are people with acquired savantism where they have had a minor brain injury but gained spectacular abilities whilst losing nothing of their normal personality traits. Also there a accounts of monks 'attaining enlightenment' through meditation and gaining the ability to speak other languages and play instruments with little or no training. Also part of the brain can be shut down with electro-magnetism giving the person temporary acquired savantism. So i guess we only use 10% of our cognitive potential at any time. Nootropics as an unfair advantage as a study aid or exam aid???? come on that's such a lame view. most of them cost very little to buy and are therefore available to most.

They usually take time to work. I've been trying and testing for years due to mild aphasia symptoms, inability to remember names in the extreme. After 9 months with alpha brain, I started recalling random memories from my childhood. I have since switched to better and less expensive supps. Trial and error, I remember the most random things triggered by thought. 3 days ago at the hospital I looked up at the original building and clearly remembered where my father's room was in 1977 as an example. I have been there dozens and dozens of times in my life. This was the first time I saw that. As I'm typing I glanced at the feed and saw a car. I saw my elementary school friends Mom picking him up in a newer yellow Chevy Vega, black interior, she had short blonde curly hair. I would have been in first grade. So joke as they may, the right nootropics definitely work. I hate modafinil.

Modafinil wakes you up Noopept increases memory Alpha GPC support Taurine and electrolytes reduce anxiety due to stimulation Vinpocetine is cerebral vasodilator, providing nutrition and oxygen to brain to actually be effecient In night, use melatonin to get into sleep

modafanil is literally used to treat narcolepsy in Canada. (mentioning it because of the video's mention of feeling like her eyes were pried open) its not an amphetamine. (although in the US it is a controlled substance)

You don't need to watch the whole video to realize that comparing HEMA and stage fencing is rather naive - neither of these two variants is "real" (especially hilarious when under the arguments about reality we see the popout to "pierce" the opponent with a one-and-a-half sword in a style worthy only of a swordsman's LARP)

I could be wrong, but it looked like that 35mm film had both the analog (Dolby SR?) waveforms, which you mentioned, and the Dolby Digital equivalent (between the sprocket holes on the same side).
