    Hello. Thank you very much. Yes, it is a really hard project, I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner , start with a plague doctor mask better.

    Im having a hard time finding leather in the USA do you have any suggestions where I can buy good leather at a decent price.

    I am in Bucharest, Romania. I buy from a local tannery and I also buy italian overstocks (we have here a good shoe industry and we find a lot of good materials). But in US you have such a good leather, I envy you. My advice is : try to buy from a local tannery if you have one nearby.

    In the USA try Weaver Leather, Springfield Leather, Buckleguy, Rocky Mountain leather or Montana Leather -there are probably more but those are places that I follow on social media -hope this helps

    The bike will be in my workshop in a month but it is really easy for a leathercrafter to add some D-rings or straps on the back of the bag. I made a lot of custom saddlebags, usually for custom bikes and every time it was a different solution

    I wonder why you glued the parts together at this point 7:49 / 13:31 - before adding the piping?

  • @VasileandPavel
    @VasileandPavelАй бұрын

    Although it may not seem like it, this was a pattern I found difficult to make. In this tutorial, I was working on the fourth version :). I didn't know exactly how large the back would be, so I sewed the parts together, attached the front to the back, cut off the excess, made holes, then detached it and continued with the piping. Of course, now that the pattern is complete, I no longer need to do this.
