welcome to Arabic food and recipes
This channel is mainly about middle eastern food. I am trying my best to make simple and easy recipes that everybody can make. And the reason why I'm making these videos is to introduce non-Arabs to our cuisine (the middle eastern cuisine), and I love what I am doing because it's very important for me to show people how we cook our food and what we eat.
as I like to try other sort of food from all over the world ( I am foodie btw :p), I thought others would like to try and see our food as well.

Did you keep the eggplant in the fridge during the process of making it?
@@nailyaragab6099 no, because the weather was okay, i mean it wasn't hot. But you can definitely keep it in the fridge if it's hot.
Stop calling it Arabic. It is both Levantine (larger Syria) and Turkish rooted. Arabic is the Gulf region. Lvatine has Aramaic, Hebrew, Kurdish, Yazidi,Armenian spoken and Arabic. Levantine Arabic is heavily fused with other language is completely different from Khaleegee (gulf) Araic which is the original
@@LoverOFhopeANDcompassion in Arabic it's called Arabic ice-cream( بوظة عربي), so this is its name! When you go to an ice-cream store, if you say i want levantine ice-cream no one would know what you mean, because it's called Arabic ice-cream.
Inshallah hmmm yummy ❤

I made it for the first time earlier and my toast isn’t even brown at alll! I’m so sad.. I’m worried that willl ruin the whole taste of it..
I hope not! The most important thing is the toast becomes crispy, so don't worry!
@@Arabicfoodrecipes thank you so much 🥰 it ended up being very tasty today for the gathering
Alr where tf u get that cup I need one. Also love the video, interesting to put bread in the Asha. I’m gonna try it next time I make it
amazing
Where do you store it? In the fridge ?
You can store it at room temperature wherever you want. You don't need to store it in the fridge as olive oil is there to preserve it.
You haven't added vanilla to it, may be that would make it taste more like icecream?
Hi, did you rinse out the salt from the aubergines?
Not at all! I let it do its magic ( it helps the water run out of the aubergine and preserve it)
I m a Pakistani living in Saudi Arabia. A friend has sent me this today n I m here to chk what it actually is. This looks delicious. Thanks for the recipe
Wow great idea.... Loved ds video do a day in a kife as well
What is the temperature in of the oven time and did u put butter on the top
The highest heat in your oven. No i don't put anything on top or underneath 😊.
what is 500 ml in cups, why not use cups that is world known and every house in the world has a cup measure not a ml measure
it's roughly two cups!
Looks good i love makdous it’s my favourite
❤
🤩
Thank you for your video. One question, can we use Himalayan salt instead of sea salt?
You're most welcome! You must use iodine free salt. I think himalayan salt has got iodin in it, i am not sure though! We use salt without iodine because iodine would ruin the pickled food.
Very nice but 1 question why do u make opening with thumb and u dont use a knife can we cut it with a knife
Delish!😋
Hi, thanks for the recipe. Actually I was only able to find readymade drinking sahleb mix only. Will it work and if yes then what quantity should be used. I found on the packet that it also had some mastic in it however, I have purchased mastic separately also. Thanks again
Yeah it does the job, but you need to add about a quarter cup of it. Try not to add too much matic ,as you mentioned that your sahlab has got mastic flavour, so it might turn bitter . The ingredients and details are in the description box btw! And you're most welcome!
Wow,nice and look very delicious, One of my favorite when i was in u.a.e .working in arab family...

نحن العرب نحتاج مترجم لغه لكي نفهم بعض العرب
Thank you so much for sharing.. and that " thing " is a pestle !
Thank you!!😊
A Syrian student at university shared some that her mother had sent her. The Makdous was spread on some flatbread. It was so delicious! I wanted to eat more but I knew it was such a precious item for her, having been sent all the way from the UAE (family lives there in exile) to Japan. It looks like it takes more than a week to make, but the result is so outstanding! Thank you for showing how it’s made!
Yeah it takes time but it's not that hard to make! And you're welcome😊!
Very easy to make. I had no idea! I love Arabic coffee! ❤
yeah, it is! thanks!
This dessert looks absolutely delicious! I had Labanese Nights dessert at Middle Eastern restaurant yesterday and I am trying to find the recipe because I loved it so much. This recipe looks similar.
