    Dates and raisins are among my favorite dried fruits easily available thus affordable. Unfortunately, my wife and one of my daughter dont like 'em. Most probably because we are living in the tropic where other fruits & veges are in abundant. As a Muslim, we will get both the benefits and reward(pahala) because it is among the sunnah food. Dates, moringga and pineapple are among the 'superfood' that i eat on regular basis. However, its not recommended for severe diabetic patients.

    Ive been putting them in my tea to sweeten it with a couple slices of lemon and a tblsp of 6:23 fresh ginger. Ive been eating them since i was just a little kid, my Mom use to buy us date cookies, they were my favorite. I should live in the middle east as most of my favorite foods come from there.😊 Canadian rais3d on a farm.

    “Favor a diet rich in whole grains” is Exactly when I clicked it off. Carnivore can & does eliminate many of these symptoms she is listing. Yes for salmon, NO for any grains, No carbs & very limited fruits & veggies, if any. And NO SUGAR!!!     Have been having 2 dates with my fruit salad for breakfast for.monyhs on end. However, sometimes my vegetable and salad lunch tastes a little salty afterwards ... then l eat another date. 25 yrs ago l was tested and told l was a borderline diabetic. Recently my blood sugar level was 5.6 so am no.longer suffering from diabetic symptoms. Thank you for this very informative review on dates. THANK YOU
