    What a brilliant interviewer - he really holds a deep appreciation for his craft. Zadie was equally brilliant in her delivery, probed by thought, reflection and her inherent intelligence. This stuff should be viewed in length by all students embarking on a life of “becoming a writer”. More please 🙏🏽

    Has anyone confronted Rollins about this? It takes a special kind of naivety and extreme tunnel vision to believe the West Memphis Three are innocent. Did he just watch the awful documentaries and didn't bother doing his own research? You don't even need to spend a whole lot of time digging for information to know how many incriminating facts were omitted in all the pro-WMP3 propaganda. Shocking.

    The most impactful thing you did in your life, Henry Rollins, is helping a sadistic triple child murderer out prison and having an interview with him in front a huge crowd of people and cameras where you talk about what a hero he is. And now that sadistic child murderer acts like a cult leader and does god knows what in his free time. Amazing. What a legacy you left, man.

  • @Ohio.Gozaimasu
    @Ohio.Gozaimasu23 күн бұрын

    Yeah, what the hell is he thinking? This whole case shouldn't even be controversial. Somebody should feed him all the evidence Clockwork Orange style. If you support literal child murderers for many years, it's probably hard to publicly admit your naivety. It looks like he STILL genuinely believes they did nothing wrong, though.

  • @greenneonsky
    @greenneonsky21 күн бұрын

    @@Ohio.GozaimasuI think it's very likely that he wouldn't be able to admit it even to himself at this point, let alone publicly withdraw his support. The same thing goes for all the other celebrities that supported the WM3, it's possible that they will distance themselves from the case but they won't admit they were wrong. After learning more about the case, it's so weird to see people like Rollins or Peter Jackson just chilling with Echols, like there is no way he is the killer. The crime he was in prison for was very cruel. They all bought into this scam and promoted it too.

    @@greenneonsky I wonder how many people ACTUALLY believed OJ Simpson was innocent when he was acquitted. I read somewhere how awkward people felt around him when he was attending parties after the trial.

    Absolutely fuck this audience, emotionally ignorant, such a shame as the interviewer was incredible. Mike's there breaking up and the audience is laughing as if he's telling some stoner story, it really irritated me as Mike (as mentioned is traumatised in many areas from childhood) so didn't want to break down probably from fear of being mocked so held back on some stories, anyway, rant over

And the way he talks and his accent. All do fake! But yeah… I’m not surprised knowing his ethnicy! I’m sure he got his job because of „his people“. Because he is absolutely not talented!

    I used to have all the respect in the world for Rollins, but I've came to realise he's a "jump on the bandwagoner",.. firstly he detests The Cure, the opening track here,.. Close to You, where ever theirs a fashionable or popular anything happening he's there! The death of Cobain, Staley, Cornell Andy Wood et al, he all of a sudden a best mate or a huge fan,! Even Ian Curtis N joy Division he's NOW a huge fan of the whole Tony Wilson's Factory scene, Depp, Veeder hell even the Dixie Chicks,. Now Rollins!! Dime bag Darrel, he was a huge fan,! He's got the cheek to go on bout how he can't stand junkies, but he seems to be in their corner if their popular or famous! Give it up Henry, you're a fake M.F, aw yeah, and he loves skaters although,...he don't skate,!! Bah humbug,!!

    He also had a solid 8 minute bit in one of his standup specials (it was Keep Talking, Pal, if I recall) where he "joked" that white people should stop being in power. He would get destroyed in any debate concerning politics or culture.

    Dear Ash Ash - I'm worried to death because I haven't been able to see you doing well. You said we live in different worlds. But is that true? We have different colored skin and eyes. We were born in different countries. But we're friends. Isn't that what counts? I'm really glad I came to America. I met lots of people. And more than anything, I met you. You asked me over and over if you scared me. But I never feared you, not once. What's more is you're hurt much more than me. I couldn't help feeling that way. Funny, huh? You're way smarter, bigger, and stronger than me. But I always felt like I had to protect you. I wonder what it is I wanted to protect you from. I wanted to protect you from fate. The fate that tries to carry you away, drifting futher and futher. You told me once about a leopard you read in a book. How you believed that leopard knew that it couldn't go back. And I said you weren't a leopard, that you could change your destiny. You're not alone. I'm by your side. My soul is always with you. - Eiji Okumura

    Is it true that the innocence Project lady quit his case because she realized he was guilty as did others? And the witches in Salem MA along with Michael Blatty Peter Blattys son who wrote the Exorcist book also believe he was guilty? I learned this from the comment section of Sloan Bellas psychic reading on the case on youtube. And That he has a super dark evil energy. I never really looked into the case so this is all new to me.
