Hi Ed, thanks for that. I have a question. We are beginners and have bought this camera to use for taking videos at concerts, galas, festivals etc. We need to be about 50m away from the stage at some events. Does this lens have the zoom capability? Thanks.
@@ScotlandLocal I think it largely depends on your expected framing. If you're shooting in good lighting conditions and are fine with a photo of the performer (full body) along with the stage, then the camera/lens combination surely will be able to do the job (especially when coupled with clear image zoom). However, if you are shooting in lowlight conditions + trying to have a closeup portrait of the performer, then it might be a bit more challenging. Here you will want to shoot in raw format to have maximum flexibility to minimise noise (post production) from high iso shooting especially so given that you will have to crop the photo to get the framing that you want. Extra note: If you are shooting a dynamic performance, then I would also suggest to shoot with raw format without clear image zoom. This will allow you to shoot with face detect to maximize the chance of having a sharp/focused photo.
Just want to clear my doubt not getting optical zoom capability in this zoom lena like not able to zoom through the zoom buttons
@@sauravkumarsahoo Yes. Indeed the zoom button will not work with the optical zoom on this lens. You will need to look for Sony Power Zoom lens for that (but there are none with the same effective range). That being said, the on camera zoom buttons are still useful to activate the Sony Clear Image Zoom function (if you use it) for additional range. This can be especially helpful in case 210mm (effective 315mm full frame equivalent) is still not quite enough to get you the range that you need.

This is my fourth video on this stand and the fourth set of specs. No one can agree on its size and weight.
I can do a quick measurement for the dimensions if you want :D

I want it for a trip to France, do you recommend it? Or do you think I'm fine with kit lenses? I want to take distant shots of landscapes and monuments & family photos. I am not a professional, it is the first camera I have bought but I do have knowledge about photography.
I think this lens is going to help provide a different perspective from the kit lens and help make the trip more memorable! That being said, if you have not lug around a heavier lens with the ZV-E10 before, then you might just want to find one to borrow or rent or buy second hand to use before your trip. Some people might find that the additional bulkiness might not be worth it as it might detract you from experiencing your trip fully.
does it have high speed sync
Yes. It does!
Hello, good evening...I really liked this video...I want to ask you...are these photos normal, or are they edited? I liked the quality of the photos...I have the zv e10 camera but I can't take pictures clearly...if you could guide me on what I could do to take clear photos, I would be very grateful...big hug and thank you again. ..(vilmar - Brazil)
The photos have been lightly edited but would not be the reason why they are clear. The ZV-E10 does not come with in-body stabilisation and therefore if you are not using lenses with stabilization such as the one featured in this video, you might want to consider bumping up your shutter speed. Alternatively, try shutter priority mode to fix your shutter speed to at least 1/250 (or higher if required).
Do you recommend this lens for the sony zve10? Please answer me I want to make a purchase on Amazon.. I've subscribe to your channel already 🙏 Edit: I'm buying for video purpose not photography.
A resounding yes. In fact I just bought a new one (the last one that I had was a used one). There were no issues with the old one. I just wanted a new one.
Dont need expensive lens when you are good shot.
I have a Ulanzi MT-16 which is v similar but a little shorter. Ulanzi make great kit.
Nice. I was considering the MT-16 but eventually got the MT-73 because it seems newer?
I'm using PGYtech extended to 47cm with F38 mount on zve10+15mm
Nice setup! How's the pgytech mini-tripod?
Norwegian, photography entusiast and Honda NC750 owner here. I have enjoyed several of your videos, and I have to recommend Scandinavia and Norway in particular for MC adventures😊

I'm a 165cm with de standard gear box, 2021 "new" model. I can carry myseft and a pilion without a problem in this bike. My previous bike was a BMW G310R ... the extra weight and the low center of gravity helps to keep the bike on the road. Stop at red lights is not an issue. The only problem with shot legs and extra wheight is when you are tiptoeing and going reverse. Let me do some more km to share a more opned review with short legs
Going reverse is always a pain :D
I keep seeing a tt350s “mini”. Stupid question, are they completely different?😂
I do not think that there is a mini version. The TT350S is the TT350S. That being said, I believe it's one of the smallest flash offered by Godox which might have led to the association with "mini".
Hello, my test button in not turning red can you please help me out?
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your Godox TT350s test flash button. It might indicate that the capacitors are not charging up enough to equal a full discharge. I would suggest trying to set the flash to manual at 1/128 power to see if it lights up and fires. If it will light up on low power, but not high, that seems like poor batteries. Even if they are new batteries, they may be of a chemistry where the voltage may not be good enough for the flash. Some batteries are just below rated voltage, but maintain it for long trickle activities while other battery chemistries maintain high voltage for high power discharges infrequently. Have you tried using fresh batteries or a good NiMH rechargeable like Eneloop?
Thank you so much.. I'll try that
Is Godox V1 compatible with ZVE10??
Yes. It is (as long as you get the Sony version) . It is a little too large compared to the tiny zv-e10 camera body but it does come with more power if that's what you need. :D
Are you talking an APS-C lens? Couldn't find a 30mm f1.4 full frame lens from Sigma.
Indeed I was referring to the DC DN line of APSC lens from Sogma

Good video! :) What's the reason behind camera bodies from Japan only offering a single language setting?
Great question. It seems to be a legacy decision where in the past, most buyers would buy cameras only in their local stores. Functionally, there are no differences that I am aware of. Perhaps someone who knows better might share their comments below?
Well, I intend to purchase one of these, next spring, when the govt. incentive program for scraping an old car would be on. It seems I would get a 2000 euros voucher for scraping a 19 years old car. I looked at you sitting on the bike, and I am kind of relaxed. I am 1.70 m tall, but I'm heavy, around 95 kilos, so the NC would lower under my weight and allow me to probably put my feet down safely. Concerning the handlebars, there are multiple options of risers to move it backwards. I would choose the DCT variant with Comfort pack, which includes tall plexi, heated grips, lower wind deflectors and the center stand, along with an USB charger, sold separately. Also fender extender and rear tire hugger are mandatory for my bike. Also, a test ride would be mandatory, before deciding to order this ”red fury”🙂
Interesting comment. Did you consider the Transalp?

It is a wonderful place indeed.
Please suggest me which one is better? 50mm f1.8 or 55mm - 210mm (this one)
It depends on your use case. What kind of photos are you planning to use it for?
@@EdinDenmark usually portraits and Cinematic videos (mostly), Note - I have a 16-50 mm kit lens.
@@notabhisek9290 I would suggest to go with the 50mm F1.8 as priority. The 55-210 would not be as sharp as the prime. That being said, I do recommend to look for a second hand if you still want to try the 55-210. And you can then sell it off if you do not like it with minimal cost exposure.
@@EdinDenmarkok, thanks mate : )

Can I use the godox v1 for my zve10?
It should work as long as the model is V1S. The "S" refers to Sony.

Hi 👋 please help me
Did you get it I am going to buy tomorrow please confirm if it works
@@user-rt1oe5cm1x it works with zv e10 but it drains the batteries very quickly.
I wanna buy a one , how can I get it?
I bought it as second-hand in Singapore at less than half the retail price. Suggest that you check out your local camera shops or Facebook marketplace to try to find one. I think buying it new might not be justified unless you are sure that you do not intend to upgrade to the 70-350mm.
Sir may I know the settings you use in the flash please? The dark shots that makes bright. Thank you!
I typically just use the TTL setting and then manually adjusting the shutter speed, aperture and iso setting to get the shot that I want. Normally, I will try to shoot with a lower iso to properly expose the surrounding and then let the camera and flash decides the flash power for the main subject. If you shoot with auto modes, then you might end up having slower shutter speeds, higher iso or larger aperture than expected which diminishes the effect of the flash.
Thanks for sharing about your motorcycle journey in Japan. I got a question, for our class 2b license, are we only allowed to ride 200cc or less motorbikes in Japan with the IDP? or are we allowed to ride above 200cc?
I'm not 100% sure but probably still limited to max 250cc. If you are renting then probably a good idea to check with the shop itself. If you are moving to Japan, then you will still have to go through the different licence classes.

Important question: is there any differences in the KFC Japan & Denmark?
Wow. That's a great question. Other than the obvious differences in price (KFC typically costing 2-3 times more in Denmark), the taste is remarkably similar. I would also add that the staff in KFC Japan is probably more friendly and put a little more care in the preparation of the food and presentation of the food.
