does efren ever revealed what earl actually told him before raising his hand? i guess if he could do it ir something, just curious.
👍 N I C E ❤️👏
Really nice to see earl gracious in defeat and of course I can't say enough good things about bustamante an absolute stone cold killer on the table yet similar to efren very humble never cries complains or a single negative thing to say win or lose
A perfect comment, David. Thx for posting ~ Ray C.
Jitters? No such thing
what a fun look into the past of the game of 9 ball....very interesting rules they played with....many of my pool buddies dont think these guys could compete in todays game.....give both of these guys todays equipment and a little time to adjust and i think theyd be just fine.....both well deserving hall of famers
There is a controversy about Efren Reyes that some of what he played which is he he won the game as it said that he didn't get the full amount of his reward and the other half was on installment. Is it true ?
That controversy and partially correct rumors related specifically to a 2006 major Las Vegas tournament *_wherein Efren (winner) and the Second-place player received their full prizes via installments_* Here are the objective & verifiable facts: Immediately after that tournament ended, the once-wealthy promoter discussed with Efren and Rodney the fact that he was faced with serious financial difficulties (and legal problems) relating to his nutritional supplements company. Both players willingly agreed to installment payments of their prize monies. They were fully paid over a 14-month period of 9 installments in chunks of 11%. *_Neither of them had negative things to say about the organizers_* Read about it here : www.billiardsdigest.com/new_current_issue/dec_16/bb_index.php The accurate, provable facts regarding the actual payments are FULLY discussed in that article. Hope that article helps anyone who might be interested. All life-long fans of our beloved *cue sports like pool and snooker* are pleased to learn that such payment controversies are extremely rare nowadays in major, better-controlled worldwide tournaments.
The match would be so much better without the analysts chiming in constantly.
It's what the producer wanted. Agree with his plan or not, he was targeting a (hopefully) massive home TV audience who he theorized as having scant knowledge about the sport's strategic nuances. His dime, his call -- as they say. That's also why he wanted the opponents to be mic-ed up.
Whoever chose those particular billiard balls was not thinking straight.
That's been expressed in various ways over the intervening 22 years. Ball color and numerical style changes often generate controversy when they depart too far from what's typical. Sometimes televise-ability is understandably on the tournament promoter's/producer's mind and last-minute misjudgments or swap-outs made. Happens with plenty of tournaments. Ardent fans however, deeply appreciate anything that *does* get televised.
#Reyes #Wow

The bible of billiards, Reyes
Anong score na pakita sana
Anong score iyon
Pinaka daldal, pinaka porma,at mayabang itong kalaban ni Efren.😂
MAYABANG, MAPORMA ITONG KALABAN NI EFREN BATA.😂

Mizerack is very HEALTHY
I knew Steve Mizerak for 25 years He passed away in 2006 much too young. Miss him greatly. His career and life are detailed here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Mizerak And here's the famous beer commercial that made him (and pool) more widely recognized by the general, non-playing public: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZaiNrpR7pNvTmso.html
G.O.A.T even his own trap can't trap him haha
What an imaginative comment, modg!!! Thanks for posting. *_No one has ever framed the wonder of it quite like that_* You understand the situation and its irony perfectly. Kudos indeed for your sharp and clever perception.

The people in the audience were so lucky to be there. They witnessed history right before their eyes.
What aplayer brill
Still watching… April 2024
Efrén.es jugador sin miedo usa todas piquites😅
I personally prefer the shot that Efren hit against Jeong of Korea in Asia 9-ball Tour but none can deny this shot is historically more significant. Truly a magnificent shot. Even Ronnie O’Sullivan stood in awe of its greatness
The thing here is The Goat did it in the scoore of 12 to 12 in a race to 13 game, one mistake means all😅
Excellent video... Thank you for not messing it up by adding unnecessary music.
Glad you liked it. Thx for the feedback.
Speaker: He's in big trouble Efren: Yeah he is indeed in big trouble.

Bạn nói rất đúng. Đó là những từ hoàn hảo để mô tả điều này. Cảm ơn nhận xét của bạn, bạn của tôi.
Some people are truly God gifted at what they do. The rest of them are simply world level elite talents.
He's a very humple pool player he's the GOAT
Pool fans everywhere agree with you. Very humble GOAT. And it's amazing to realize that a humble genius is quite rare in world history.
@@raycarltonbilliards5798 kenapa anda panggil efren dengan sebutan kambing...?
@@raycarltonbilliards5798definitely the goat humple
It’s like michael jordan pulling off a 360 between the legs dunk over two seven footers in game 7 to win the championship.
$200,000 first prize for Efran's win couldn't have happened for a nicer guy! He deserves every dime!😊
Indeed he does/did deserve it, and is an outstandingly nice, wholesome, decent man. I've known him since the mid-1980s.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful match to us!! I've been into watching Mr Efren's pool matches lately 😁

Buddy, had beautiful game. Tempo is just right. His cue ball. When most guys play 9 ball it looks like a game. When Buddy played it looked like an art form.
This is such an *_accurate, balanced and perfectly phrased, almost poetic comment_* Thanks for posting. What a great salute to a worthy, world-class champion. I'll be sure that Buddy gets to read it.
This Reyes is Magnificent. Wow, he's magic.
You've read the title of the video, James :-)
Baju merah banyak omong lah
Hal itulah yang diharapkan oleh produser untuk menggairahkan penonton televisi rumahan yang menjadi tujuan proyek tersebut. Sebenarnya rencana yang konyol -- kita semua pasti setuju.
First game is like the match of me and my mate. We just hit and don’t care where the cue ball go ))
The Legend. the real Goat
His the goat of pool ❤
Efren Gold
Luar biasa tontonan biliard ini berhadiah 3 miliar. Salam balik supportnya kawan 🙏
*Kenji: Anda benar sekali bahwa jumlah hadiah uang pada tahun 2005, besarnya tekanan, dan bakat para lawan semuanya bersejarah dan memukau untuk disaksikan saat kontes berlangsung. Salam*
