Nice video,Big Hook Wilderness Camps is an awesome place! 187 miles north at the end of the asphalt road. Walleye and pike fishing is awesome! The camps are ran by a great group of people that keeps generations coming back. Central Lake has been our main stay lake but I have heard that the 6 other outpost lakes are just as awesome as the rest! Looking forward to our next trip back. Our last trip was 2022 and my wife and I boated 780 walleye and Northern Pike for 6 days, we lost a day due to bad weather on fly out, finally got to camp late afternoon of the first day, the rest of the week was gorgeous!

Hate to be "that guy" but that big walleye is out of the water from the 18:15 minute to the 21minute mark, without edits, and still wasn't unhooked, measured, or pictured. That's risky, to say the least.

Great footage and content! I can remember reading about this lake and its surroundings in a 1981 (or so) article in Outdoor Life. At that time, I believe the camp/site was owned and operated by Ojibway Outfitters. I have spent a lot of time visiting and fishing those old-time outposts I read about years and years ago.
