  It's kinda funny how a decade ago it was Skype notifications in videos that would trip people up and now we're at Discord notifications in videos tripping people up.🤔 I had (at least I think so) a rather odd starting order for Keen games. Keen 3 was my first, then 2, then either 6 or Keen Dreams (too far back for me to properly remember which I encountered first), and then 4. I didn't see Keen 1 or 5 until some years later.

  ​@@ShikadiNetzwerk I guess really thinking about it I'd have to go with Keen 3. The setting feels like being on a foreign yet familiar-to-Earth world. The game feels large and expansive and the colors and level design are bright and interesting. And the world feels like it's populated with a society. There's Keen 6 with Fribbulus Xax, sure, but that feels more like Bloogs/Bips scattered about in large facilities with a lot of creatures compared to places that feel more lived in, in my opinion. Perhaps that's a design choice or maybe a side effect of the game engine allowing larger areas? Anyways, It's just really neat as a whole. If there were a mod to remake Keen 3 on the Galaxy engine, that would be really cool. (*looks at DrColossus*)

  I lost it at the "all vorticons" level. That was just hilariously unexpected. XD 19:21 I had thought it was designed in mind with the strategy of waiting it out in that corner to whittle them down until that one got a lucky jump and made it up there. Come to think of it, I have questions about the design for some of these levels because it feels like some of them weren't playtested first or given enough thought.

  Man, the art for this mod series is a trip. Most of the time it's just way out there though there's some bits that feel close to the realm of regular Keen art. 24:16 oddly caught me off guard though with that face reveal.

  Oh, boy, that was rough. Yeah, it's a bit hard to figure out where to go when saving in a level and not playing for some time. Also, the green dudes have a slower stun time on lower difficulties, but on hard they get up almost immediately; jumping over them and stunning them gives you a better chance, I think.

  It takes a remarkable amount of creativity to take the simple graphics and level layout of Keen 1 and build off of them and rearrange them in a way here that's still familiar yet fits in seamlessly with the feel of the Goodbye Galaxy games. This is awesome.

  I still like to imagine there are large bay doors on the 4th wall. That said, since the dirt is pink (on the overworld map), is this also somehow underground as well? The background being a dirt wall?

  Turnip Trapway: shoot the turnip 4 times and then they will be stunned (become flowers), but when they recover, they will be harmless, so they will learn the lesson (if you get how I mean). :D In the bonus level, that kid is Mortimer McMire. Background story is that he has been brought by the Dream Machine as well (in secret that Keen doesn't know). :D Moreover, he can be "killed" by Flower Power. Next update will include a second bonus level.

  @@ShikadiNetzwerk 1 more thing I must let know: Originally there is a bug, when Keen stands at the right edge of the level (Appel Acres for example) and an enemy kills him, he "wins" the level by dying. It is now fixed, too.

  Thanks for playing through my first true Keen Dreams source mod! 😀In the meantime I will soon update the mod including some bugfixes (and reworked Mushroom enemy; since no proper goplat code exists for Keen Dreams, and balanced music volume, which is under progress by T-Squared Productions. The project for me took 1 year + 3-4 months anyway. :) And finally the game has music, which everybody dreamt about!
