This 1 is 1 of my 2 favorites from ABBA. The other 1 is Dancing Queen, which is completely up tempo.
ABBA is acronim with initials of Their first names, two swedish couples: Agnetha (blonde singer) & Björn (guitarist songwriter) Benny (pianist songwriter) & Anni Frid 'Frida' (brunette singer) both couples separated before the break up of the group "The winner takes it all" (1980) is one of the Best Songs by ABBA and the Most sad and emotional too The best lyrics and the greatest performing with the amazing Interpretation of the lead singer in this TV show express at Germany 1980 you could see the same blonde Agnetha free and natural in the next song "Super Trouper" and very energetic in the last song "On and on and on" (and with her ex husband) but the people who see it only here (and not the whole mini show) are left with the incomplete morbidity of the guitarist who wrote the song for their recently divorced ex-wife But it's a performance of ABBA, with magnificent interpretation of Agnetha, that She knows how to transmit with Her gestures and body and facial expression the spirit and feeling of the songs (You could see Her in songs like "S.O.S." or "I've been waiting for You" from 1975, when She was happily married) The lyrics is a fiction, it is not about Their real life, although it is obviously influenced by Their own experiences and the realization of the legal divorce in the middle of 1980, even though They were no longer a couple or lived together more than a year and half ago, at the end of 1978 I suggest to see the next songs in these TV show: "Super Trouper" with the brunette singer Frida in lead voice (same TV studio, staff and outfits) ABBA have more than 20 worldwide hits between 1972/1982: Waterloo, Fernando, Dancing Queen, Take a chance on me, Chiquitita All these songs are in your album recopilation GOLD (1992) that have much more than 1.000 weeks at Top 100 in UK Official Charts (first group singer or artist to do it) And return in 2021 (after almost 40 years) with a new album Voyage and new concerts in Londin UK since May 2022 (with ABBAtars of themselfes and a live band)

Agnetha, the lead singer of this song, said in later years that this is her favorite ABBA song. I can agree, but I cant personally understand how she/they could sope have such a piblich break up, not to mention doing rhese kinds of songs about it. Knowing Me, Knowing You is another one on the same topic. Please do more reactions to ABBA, they deserve it. I'll happily leave suggestions for their most well known songs. ❤

An ABBA masterpiece 👌! Björn, the guy with the acustic guitar wrote this lyrics, and his ex-wife, Agnetha, the blond girl, performed it masterfully. Benny is tremendous on the piano, and his (still) wife (at the time), Frida, is excellent on backing vocals as is Björn. You’re right. Artists had to actually sing back in the 70’s! Auto tune wasn’t even invented yet😂! But the artist back then didn’t need it…they used their talents to create beautiful music❤❤❤. A little background. Barry Gibb (middle) September 1, 1946. He and his wife Linda have been married for 53 years. They have 4 sons and one daughter who is the youngest. Also, 7 grandchildren. Barry's chest is shiny with blotches because when he was about 18 months, he pulled a pot of hot tea from off of a table. His mom said he didn't not speak for a long time (maybe 2 years.) Robin (on our left) and Maurice (on our right) were fraternal twins. Maurice Gibb (December 22, 1949 - January 12, 2003) survived by wife and 2 adult children. Robin Gibb (December 22, 1949 - May 20, 2012) survived by wife and 4 adult children. Andy Gibb- not pictured. (March 5, 1958 - March 10, 1988) He was too young to sing with his brothers. He had his own successful career. He and Barry could have been identical twins. You know the song 'Emotion' sung by Destiny's Child? Well ..... they wrote the song (1977) for the singer Samantha Sang. Destiny's Child has too much drama in it. But Barry said he liked it.
