I cover Table Top Roleplaying Games.
Some of my current series include Reviews where I review a wide variety of TTRPGs and Character Vault, where I go through the process of creating characters using different systems.

Even if they aren't completely necessary, I really like the layout and the artwork. I want to know about all of those horrible entities, lurking out there in the darkness! >:3 Chances of this being played, sometime? Nice video, my dude! Keep up the groovy work! :D
@@sisyphus461 I've got plans for later this year 😉
The comics would have helped you way better in creating a concept. Either IDW or even old Marvel
Great video - exactly what I was looking for as someone who just stumbled onto this system randomly a few days ago. Thanks!
@@franko6127 thanks for watching! Hopefully, it works for what you want it to do
I was gonna comment that u should review arc but you already did!!! Amazing I have a paperback version, which follows pretty much the same layout:)
@@fjordschrder2793 awesome! What do you think of the game?
Thanks
If you really hate the death save mechanic I recommend you watching "Mothership RPG in 1 rule" by Alfred Valley. It's just 4 minutes and I'm sure it will give you a new perspective about it.
*MEGA*review as always!
@@mariodosantos thanks!
So, you think "Move" is the most OP power for a Force user, eh? I know an Influencer who might want to have a word with you. ;) Nice video, my dude! Keep up the groovy work! :D
They updated the modules. Completely changed the sheets.
Cool overview! Just a heads up - Your starting Stats are 2d10 + 25, not d100! Same with Saves. Just picked up Mothership myself & impressed with how tight the rules lock together
The new edition seems like an excellent upgrade. I really dig some of the new art, too. The two page spread on the pages dealing with medicine and stuff is awesome! The expansion of ships and combat in the void is also appreciated. The distances and time scale between turns is interesting. I don't know any other setting that makes you wait hours between salvos, or evasive manoeuvres! Good video, my dude! Looking forward to the next one! Keep up the groovy work! :D
Thanks! I suppose it's to make the game more realistic. It kinda reminds me of The Expanse.
Cool video, thanks. I wonder what people would think of a distribution system for stats and saves? To keep it on par... Stats: 144 points to distribute. Each stat must range from 27-45 (36 is average). Saves: 63 points to distribute. Each save must range from 12-30 (21 is average).
Do you play this game? What are your thoughts?
Unfortunately, I don't. I do have a review of the system, but in short, I like that it gives you the freedom to make a superhero the way that you envision without being complicated in its gameplay.
Nice video, my dude! I wish your PC many adventures in his flying coffin! ;D
Thanks!
For a relatively complicated game, the character creation is seamless and so easy! :D That app also seems very useful. Glad the game's doing well enough to warrant a new edition. Nice video, my dude! Keep up the groovy work!
Yup! It's only a matter of time until Mothership returns to our table.
@@knightsaberZ42 Excellent! :3
Complicated? This seems extremely rules lite for an rpg to me. Maybe I misunderstood your phrasing?
This was super helpful, thank you. I played this TTRPG about 5+ years ago and didn't know about roll20 so it was all on paper and props. It is a bit daunting to add EVERYTHING to set up the foundation to play but I love roll20 and the ease of the character sheet. As a long time DM for D&D, I am looking forward to branching out into this game again and your videos are very helpful.
Thanks! There is so much you can do with this game and system. Good luck in your games.
@@knightsaberZ42 Thanks
Awesome video!!! Thank you!!!
Thanks!
They aren't "Grown in a lab". They are either dunked in a vat of FEV or injected with FEV (depends on who and where it is being done). They were human beings before being forced to evolve into supermutants. And that is the only way to create them,, as they are all sterile and, at least on the East Coast, there are no female supermutants as they all die during the transformation. Horribly.
I really love some of the ideas in this book. And I look forward to running my first game on this system. If I have one central criticism for the system, it's that the author seems to have a chip on his shoulder about other GMs. He seems to think that he should use his rules to reign in the excesses of game masters. He even uses the game mechanics to take the power of life and death out of the hands of the game master. It just doesn't make sense to me, But there is so much to love in the system, that I am definitely going to run it, and I'll run it as he intended
Awesome and good luck to you! Let me know how it turns out.
Still my favourite system, ahead of all the rest! Also, a buff Twi'Lek? Interesting direction to go. ;) Great video, my dude! Keep up the groovy work! :D
Did I mention she has a French accent?
Just started a campaign for this!
Awesome! Such a fun game! Let me know how it goes.
Huh. It's a weird one, but with potential as a boardgame, just as you said. I really like the aesthetic of the whole thing. Anyways, great video my dude! Keep up the groovy work! :D
where can i get the character sheets?
modiphius.net/en-us/products/star-trek-adventures-character-sheets-free-pdf
Can't say I ever heard of this game, but the title and the creation process is giving me "Player Unknown" vibes. Is this a PvP deathmatch game? Anyway nice video, my dude! Keep up the groovy work! :D
Sorta...when you get to the end, players have the option of either fighting the system or playing to win.
@@knightsaberZ42 Ah, I see. Interesting! I'm looking forward to the full review of this! :3
knightsaberZ42, You're so talented! I had to hit the like button!
Thanks!
My cousin helped make it
Huh, this is far more interesting and in-depth of a setting than I'd anticipated. If nothing else, all the extra rules and stuff would make a general sci-fi game very easy to pull off, just as you said. Great video, my dude! Keep up the groovy work! :D
Hey, you have done them all now! Looks like we will have to make some more. :)
Looking forward to it!
You gotta watch the 86 movie
What would you suggest as an alternative for someone wanting that "super power action" in a table top game?
Sentinel Comics the roleplaying game. If you know the system and are fine with tweaking things, then maybe City of Mist.
Dude, thank you big time for the unboxing. Secular Games, a brazilian publisher, will publish a portuguese version os CBR+PNK. I was thinking about get it in PDF, but after seeing your video, I'll get the physical version. Totally awesome the panphlets. Cheers!
Thanks! That's exciting that it's getting a Portuguese version!
This is awesome, thank you man 😎
Thanks for watching! Glad this video could be of help!
Huh, this is another movie I would never have thought there'd be enough content for a setting. I am pleasantly surprised, at least. I do agree with you, my dude. These rules could easily be transferred over to a Mad Max setting, which is not a bad thing. I wonder if you could pull off a crossover? ;) Anyways, nice video! Keep up the groovy work! :D
Thanks for covering my book! Escape was a lot of fun because I got permission to make a lot of cannon expansions to the world's lore, and as a John Carpenter fan, that was very exciting for me. It was a bit of a struggle to come up with new mechanics for this book, other than the new character options since EFNY is so close in terms of technology and focus to the core game. Thus, its a bit more of a campaign setting book. BTW: The heroes don't have to be captured to get to the Death Race. But it is the most dramatic option because, like the film plot, it puts time pressure on the heroes. They can also discover the race on their own, or the GM can place one of the needed components for the bomb at the race to draw the heroes there. I didn't write most of the adventure, but I did get to do the Death Race part and really had a grand time coming up with the details.
Thank you for the first full review on KZread of this board game! Could you put the file with the rule book in open access (X, Facebook or somewhere else)? It's just not possible to buy it in my country. If you can't post it, then thanks anyway for the video on this board game!
Thank you very much for the flipthrough, Knightsaber. Your reviews are very helpful.
Thanks! I'm glad I could be of help!
If you have Fate dice, just paint in one of the "-" signs in on each die, so that you have a 1 the (-) minus sign, "2" with a different color (-) minus sign, 2 "+" for the special symbols and 2 blanks, so they will match the challenge dice exactly. And you can still use them as Fate dice.
That's...a really good idea!
This seems like a very solid expansion, which is surprising. It seems like it'd be genuinely fun to play! Groovy video, my dude! Keep up the good work! :D
Thanks for going through it, glad you enjoyed it. This was the easiest of the CAs to put together. Skull Island is the kind of place where the adventure comes to you. Sadly, Godzilla is owned by Toho, so while we very much wanted to include big G, he was beyond our reach. You are right about those poor tough heroes... I hadn't actually though about it, but ya, a lot of them have had a rough go of it.
I kinda figured there was some copyright issue with using Godzilla. I forgot Toho owned the big guy. Anyways, this truly was a great book to read through!
It was odd you didn't remember fighting synths in 4.
Synths? What synths? They are just humans regular humans who want to live normal lives and not take over the world. Nope. Nothing to see here folks. Just ordinary humans. 😜
Pilot skill was first introduced in Fallout: Tactics.
Ah, gotcha!
I'm currently running a TI campaign using inspiration from Mass Effect, Deep Space Nine, StarCraft, and Babylon 5.
Nice! Have you checked out War for the Throne, yet?
@@knightsaberZ42I got it this week and have been skimming through it. I'm definitely going to implement it after I get the group through a few missions that expands on some of the lore and introduces them to the main factions in the setting.
I'm getting into the fallout table top now. I feel like they have given enough room to make your own setting. I'm setting up a south east setting and i am enjoying creating what it would be like, new factions, settlements, characters, and lore.
That sounds great! I've always wanted to create a setting for Hawaii.
@@knightsaberZ42 Hawaii sounds dope!
