heartofkenthospice

Heart of Kent Hospice provides expert care for people living in the Maidstone, Aylesford, Tonbridge & Malling and surrounding areas, who are facing the challenge of a life limiting illness. We care for nearly 1,000 patients and their families a year in their own homes or at the Hospice. Our aim is to improve their quality of life and help them live each day as fully as possible.

It costs over £5m a year to run the Hospice services, of which over £4m is raised by the local community we serve through fundraising, challenges, donations and the support of our volunteers. Thank you for your continued support.

Hospice is a Godsend. My brother lasted 8 months longer than expected, And my mother lasted 10 more. They put our future transitional crisis more at ease.

Hospice is such a blessing for so many people, I know how loving the hospice carers are when my grandpa was dying of Lukemia they were truly sent to us by God😢they take so much pressure off the family and allows the family very precious time with their loved ones instead of their having to focus on their impending loss 💜💜

I wish that more people would LISTEN to the facts about hospice. The people who think they inject patients with something to kill them. It’s only morphine….which also opens airways. Patients can go for days like that. Good time to spend with families.

My sister had Lewy Body Dementia. She had round the clock caregivers, in her home in Ridgefield CT, for 4 years. Her last 3, were spent, at The Residence, in Darien, CT. It's an assisted living facility. I salute the medical staff, care givers , and hospice, who took such great care of my sister. She passed away peacefully, on Jan 27, 2021. Blessings and prayers to you and your families.
